Bread that is. Butter and marg don't count. But feel free to mention them anyway. I use them as a base layer to compliment....

Oh heeeeeeeeeeall yeah. Sorry I couldn't find a more annoying pic.
Also, wtf Peanut butter? Who invented this dry, bland as **** spread and why is it popular?
Maybe the brands here just suck.
Honerable mentions...

I've gone through phases with just about everything (Aside from peanut butter because of allergies), but in the past few years I've found the one thing that I tend to stick with and can't get enough of:

Apple butter is amazing.

*drool* nutella~....8D anyway, I love spreading nutella on the top bread, and spreading mashed bananas on the bottom, or when the nutella's melty, I pour it xP
I also love mayonnaise (generic kind xD), cream cheese (magnolia), and Cheese Whiz in my sandwiches.
Apple butter is amazing.

That's my favorite spread for bread, I just can't get enough of it. I usually like to eat it without spread (sometimes if there is no Apple butter or jam) but it's just...not the same! <3

So many stores carry grape and strawberry jams and jellies. But it's really great to find a unique flavoured jam, perhaps from a fruit that usually isn't available in normal grocery stores or is seasonal. There's pomegranate jelly, for example, that's quite good to add. And what's wrong with peanut butter, when it's added with jelly, dry as hell indeed by itself.

Better than nutbutter, tasty like nutella (healthier).
Not to mention! It's whole nut!!!

Eggs. With some turkey bacon on top too, if available.

If I had to pick a spread though,
I'd go with cream cheese.

I put jelly and/or peanut butter; fried eggs and/or soy sauce; and that's about it since butter and marg don't count. ^_^
There, fixed.

So you use egg, or soy sauce? I dont get it. :P
I put just about anything on bread.. Anything>>> XD
I love bread.
Chocolate and Peanut butter. =D there used to be a wonderful mixture of spice added to peanut butter.. some time in the late 90's. =\ It went away. >< maybe it was 2000. Anyway.. Thats what got me onto peanut butter..
Peanut butter and jelly (any kind at all) In the last week I have used, sugarfree (not by choice) Blackberry, and Raspberry jam, smuckers strawberry jam, and some orange marmalade.
Peanut butter and honey (but you have to use one slice of bread or it will get all hard) =\
I likes applying cinnimon and sugar and butter to warm bread. O.O
I can say though I do love bread.. I dont have a variety of sauces to try on it. . . You can only have too much of something on a slice of bread before it becomes sickening.. especially if its not supposed to be on bread at all or alone. :P

And/or, silly, and or or. Meaning I put only eggs on sometimes, only soy sauce on sometimes, and sometimes both together.

I think I'd prefer English muffins over bread any day. Mainly with eggs and bacon, sort of like an Egg McMuffin you'd get at McDonalds, only better. But, if I had to choose something with bread and not an English muffin, I'd probably choose brown sugar melted on top of the bread. It's very delicious. Well, that or french toast, which is very easy to make. Damn, now I'm hungry for french toast.

Nutella rocks, but I could never understand how people can eat it on bread... Bread and chocolate? I don't know about that.
Apricot jam is the best thing ever on toast! Blackberry jam is good, too, but nothing touches apricot.

There's a little farm in Greeneville that makes rose petal jelly. Along with lavender and other flower varieties. It is so good, it's like a spoonful of heaven. Best with a little cream cheese.
OMG. I'm hungry.

Goober's Strawberry Jam and Peanut Butter.
It's the bee's knees of all spreads:
HONEY.
-----
Oh and a good way to sweeten and moisten peanut butter is to spread HONEY & PEANUT BUTTER on the SAME piece of bread.
Try it; I dare you.

I'm pretty anal about this issue lol. Most often I go for butter, but it has to be soft, room temperature-ish and the toast must be cold, it must never be warm or hot. Can't stand it when it becomes soggy.
I sometimes go for marmite, butter and a very thin layer of marmite is fine.
Peanut butter sandwiches are the best! I usually have one or two + a big glass of milk for a snack. I also sometimes drizzle some maple syrup on it just to give it an extra boost of yummy yummy goodness. There's no ****ing way I'm having any type of jelly with peanut butter though; I'm pretty strict about that. :(

That's what my dad buys. I'd choose crunchy peanut butter over the smooth kind anytime though.
Peanut butter goes with jam and honey so it is pretty awesome.

I dislike toast, if I want toast I leave the bread in for about 10 seconds or so, just enough so I can feel a very light crunch. I put strawberry jam on my toast. I like the feel of the little seeds in my mouth. <3
