Ninja Gaiden 2 Info (http://www.answers.com/topic/ninja-gaiden-ii/)
I love ninja games and this one is pretty rocking.
Good Points
Dismemberment and blood
graphics are good
weapons are awesome
Ryu is kick ass
Bad Points
Level Design
Boss battles range from hard to 2 easy
Ayane is not in it enough
what do you guys on A4 think of this awesome sequel?

I think Itagaki confused the terms "difficulty" and "unfairness" during the making of this game.
You're right about the bad level design. Invisible mines that instantly kill you with no warning placed right in front of a save point right after beating a difficult boss is not "challenge", it's bullshit.
The game was O.K., did not make me a fan of the series though. I wouldn't play through it again.

Have you played the first one on Xbox by any chance?
Yes those mines were annoying and how you had to fight 5 bosses in a row at the end of the game was just so unfair. I don't know what he was thinking with that one.

Love this game, playing it on Hard... and hit a Progression break that I can't get around.

I can't see the point of playing it any longer than the first time really.
Unless you want a challenge then by all means go for your life.

The first one was amazing, challenging and lots of fun. the second one does not disappoint, but they made it a little easier, which is to be expected. But it was solid none the less, I love these games.

A little easier. It was a whole lot easier, one of the said bad things about Ninja Gaiden 2. In my opinion. It didn't wreck the game, it was still good,
but it did make the game seem 2 easy at times.

Easier? I'm happy I didn't play the first, now xD This game is kicking my ass. I'm on the boss inside the burning hayabusa temple thing and he's kicking the absolute hell out of me. I really do wanna pick it up again and give it another go...maybe later...a lot later...

I haven't played either one yet.....I should, but my backlog is way too long and I've started playing Shining Tears with my bro and that game is pretty addicting.....

I found him to be hard at first, but if you know when to attack him then its all good. Keep at it and you'll eventually succeed.

I would have to disagree with that and say the second one pwns the first one by a lot, a huge amount just barfs all over the original xbox Ninja Gaiden.
