ive played through a lot of great games and seen a lot of great endings, but have you ever played through a game and been left confused or pissed off at the ending or has there been a game that you simply wished never ended. i just want to here your veiws on this matter :D
mine would have to be final fantasy 10 :( i ****ing love that game i first played i when i was nine (didnt complete it for the first time till i was 14 :P) so anyway a completed it for the 3rd time last night and the ending still manged to get me depressed. its such a good ending but i wished ff10 could have a happier ending (except for x2 :P i now need to watch the good ending on x2 if i complete x or else am depressed for the rest of the week :P)

I guess Fallout 3 or STALKER. They start out very interesting, but the ending leaves a lot to be desired. The expectations are even greater for a more free form game with a more immersive world.

I wish Dues Ex: Invisible War didn't end. That game was way too short. The ending was fairly dissappointing... fun though.

Agreed completely. After all of that I was expecting a lot more than a ~1 minute long cutscene!

None. I'm usually pretty happy when I finish a game. No point in sitting around, moping. You just achieved something, stop crying.

Crisis Core. Ugh so sad...all the more sad because I knew it was coming and I got so attached to Zack anyway. They totally did that on purpose...got us to love him, then ripped him away like he was destined to be. I cried my eyes out.
And Final Fantasy X. I loved the ending, but it was so sad. I bawled my eyes out for this one too. I do that a lot -_-

Final Fantasy 7 & 8, I tried playing 9 but didn't like it as much as I did for 7 & 8. Never had the chance to play Final Fantasy X and beyond. I just love the chocobo thing in FF7 and the card game in FF8.

Elite Beat Agents. Maan, I could play that all day. ^^
And Ar Tonelico. Come on, I need a bit more of an ending than what they gave.

any of the Final Fantasy's. Seriously I could have continued playing any one of those FOREVER!!! But Final Fantasy 8 most of all. I thought that there was a lot more that could have been included in that game. Hence why it was probably my favourite and the most disappointing for me.
Maybe a little of topic, but Laguna was supposed to be Squall's father right?

Persona 4, because it made me feel like I wasn't going to play a game that good for a very long time. And frankly, it's true.
I haven't found a game that emotionally compelling ever since.

Actually it was only implied in the conversation of Kiros and Ward while they were aboard the Ragnarok. When Raine died, Ellone and the child of Laguna and Raine (assumed to be Squall) were sent to the orphanage. I think it's safe to assume that Squall is indeed the son of Laguna. If not, then why all throughout the game, Squall always have flashbacks related to Laguna.. There gotta be some connections.
Wish they create a movie about FF8 like what they did with FF7 (Advent Children)....

Yup, most definitely. As said by CoolKid3, it was never out right said, but you'd have to be a complete idiot to miss all of the obvious hints they give you. From the comments Kiros and Ward make when they see Squall, to the fact that Squall is always the one to get sent into the body of Laguna. There are countless other hints, more than I can list. Such as when you're on the Ragnarok with Laguna. You go up to talk to him, and he tells you that he'd like to talk to you after it's all done. And, the fact that his legs cramps up when Squall runs away after he'd spoken to him about the plan. Well, I think you get the picture.
He does look like Laguna too, if you pay enough attention. The structure of his face and some of his features are basically the same.

When I finished Persona 3 finally I felt so satisfied but at the same time I was sad. the game was such an immerse experience and the first game that has ever completely grabbed me. I felt like it had actually changed my outlook on the world a little as dorky as that sounds. it was kind of sad to know it was the end of a really enjoyable journey.

The only one that comes to mind is Grand Theft Auto 3. God how I love that game, the gangs were the best and so was the radio.
And yes I said 3 :|

The Godfather 2. It was a fun game and the storyline was decent enough. Was just way too short, especially in comparison to the length of the first Godfather game.
