Yes I do.
No use for it to run, IMO.

Nope I don't. Don't see a reason to disable it. o.o

I currently have it enabled on the desktop because the performance is barely affected anyway. On the laptop however I run on the most efficient mode I can, which usually involves turning Javascript off.

Yes and no. I'm using the NoScript extension and while it does disable JavaScript or any other script by default, I do have A4 on the white list so scripts for this site will work. I assume this question is just only for this site so I'll vote no.

Nope. No need for me to cut it off, or even tinker with it.

No, I never felt the need to disable it. I just leave the script options alone ^^

JavaScript allows us to do AJAX which loads things on the site without refreshing your browser.

Example:
On the bottom of this post is a "Quick Reply" box.
When you submit, your post automatically appears in the thread.
Without JavaScript, that won't happen.
Your browser will refresh, as if you just clicked on a new link.

Ohh, why wouldn't you want Java then? it's so convenient

JavaScript runs on your machine and its speed is determined by how awesome your computer is.

Ohh ok. Well I have a brand new Mac so I have nothing to worry about

No I don't.
Don't have a reason to. And I would rather just leave it as is. ^^

I keep it as is. I'll forget to enable it again if I turned it off, and I have no reason to disable it.

Well, alot of how modern browsers work is effected by Java. Some things can't work if JavaScript isn't enabled, because not everything can run on flash.

Yeah I disable it, as on my mobile (my main source of net) javascript is a bit hit and miss. Though I'm getting proper net in november, so it doesn't really matter.

Thats exactly the position I'm in. I do block the trackers though.
