Fun, sleazy and gory Sci-fi anime horror fantasy from the director of "Ninja Scroll", "Demon City Shinjuki" and "Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust" Yoshiaki Kawajari. It's about two different agents one who is a human man and one who is a interdimensional creature woman who looks normal but has powers as they must try to protect a man who is set to make peace between an interdimensional world and ours but shapeshifting assassins from the outer world are after him.
It's got a good storyline with quality animation, scenes of sex and bloody violence and Kawajari's trademark style. One of his best movies and a highly underrated one!

Saw it about ten years ago at the request of one of my friends. It was alright.

You don't think it's as good as the director's other movies?

Just watched it the other day. Bought it because I mixed it up with Demon City. Good but seemed a bit rushed on the story.

I watched this quite a while ago now. I would have to watch it again 'cos I can't remember too much. I do remember thinking it wasn't that good. Nowhere near as good as his other movies.

Who thinks the female agent was hot? too bad she got raped by tentacles and i think this film started the whole thing on the controversial taboo anime of tentacle rape before Urotsukidoji and La Blue Girl. But it wasn't as bad as those two.
Gotta love Gespepe Mayo the horny little wiseman even when he gets sexually aroused by that nude chick in the adult message parlor. There is gonna be a new live-action remake coming soon!

This movie is clearly the result of Yoshiaki Kawajiri letting his mind run completely wild, and it's pretty disturbing to see how f*cked up it can get. At the same time, there is undeniable power with Kawajiri's style, even at its most sexist and depraved. I think he redeemed himself with Ninja Scroll for any transgression.
An underrated Kawajiri work is Cyber City Oedo 808.
