Plot Summary: Minato Sahashi is extremely intelligent, yet due to his inability to cope under pressure has failed the college entrance exam twice. As a result he has been branded an idiot and loser by many. One day after talking to his yet again disappointed mother he comes into contact with a girl named Musubi who was under attack. The girl runs but takes him with her and soon finds that Minato, while unknown to him, is an Ashikabi, one of the mysterious set of masters that have the genetic trait that can become partners with some of the 108 cute girls, buxom women, and bishōnen called "Sekirei". Another new year and another new season of sekirei I cant wait! The new season will air In a month or two. The second season pics up right where the first left off following the manga. With most of the Sekirei's having been winged I wonder who will wing Kagari? Well actualy I know but I wont spoil anything.

You know, I actually kind of liked Sekirei. It got goofy sometimes, and was very poorly animated now and then, but the over-riding story of the corporation and the game was kind of interesting. Personally, I found the most compelling characters to be those not in the central harem group, such as the landlady, the CEO, or those in the special discipline unit. I wouldn't mind watching the upcoming season if it spent a lot of time on that aspect of the story.

Things will be more serious this time around since all the sekireis have been winged. The fighting scenes are pretty top notch the trailer that Is out right now looks realy good.

Well I saw the first season of Sekirei (http://animemangahome.com/anime-series/sekirei). I am not a big fan of it but, it was a time pass series.

I had mixed feelings about the first season.
Started off as promising but then it went way off to pure random comedy/ecchi stuff.
Also the male protagonist, as in probably all harem animes, is a weak piece of sht. (Sorry just had to say)
The ending was so weak, mainly cuzz this guy was just crying all the time, whining like a fking baby, that just really threw me off.
Omg it almost remembered me of Raki from Claymore.
Actually i'd rather had the other guy with the grey hair as the hero, at least hes badass.
If u ignore the hero, i believe hes called Minato, and purely watch the action/fighting then it is still awsome though.
Well that is what i will try to attend to in season 2. (Surely u can't ignore the 'balloons' either ofcourse ;p)

you could see it coming, end of season one was a massive cliff hanger.

Fav characters are Kusano and Musubi.
Love sekirei, i remember watching it as it aired back in 2008
