Summary - Cobra is very known space pirate, but decides to change his face and to clear all his memories. He becomes a common guy, with a common job, and a very boring life, but suddenly he starts remembering his true identity and new adventures begin.
The fourth episode was just released, this is my fav show this season by far, the psychogun owns.

This is also my favorite show of the season (possibly in my top ten of all time even). Did you see the OVAs as well? Crystal Boy was so awesome.

This is the only anime of Cobra I have seen, but I heard there was more before this, episode 4 was one of the best episodes of anime I've seen for a long time, especially the bit when he remembered who he was.
Episode 5 was another good one too, Cobra was supposed to meet up with his friend Johnny, but when Cobra got there Johnny had already been killed by the people who were after him...
I knew it was going to be that woman though who was the boss, partly by the laugh and by other little hints, also what a great name for a bar.

Generic, camp, cheesy dialogue strewn predictable slosh with booty intead of panty shots. No seriously, booty shots. Also, a bondage ninja cyborg bodyguard type thing.
I've seen episode one of psychogun.
Loved every second of it.
I mean....the main bad guy had two stacked chicks on a leash who shot lazer bolts out of their boobs.
And holy crap, Angelkiss figured out how to use spoiler tags.

This series is so good, just watched episode 8, pretty freaky too with those mandrid flowers and how they grow, hopefully this series will get licensed.

It's ashame this series is getting so little attention, with each episode it just keeps getting better and Cobra becomes more awesome, in episode 9 Cobra showed his caring side by putting the Black Bullet out of her misery.

I found episode 9 a bit out of place with respect to Cobra's personality. Was not expecting him to save her the way he did.

Well there was little room for saving her without taking her life, the only real chance he had for that was when they were dancing and she asked him to stop the Black Bullet, but of course at that time he didn't know it was her, you could see he was sad about what he had done.

So episode 10 of this show was another top watch, I like these episodes where Cobra gets together with other stronger people and they have to complete a mission together, I'm guessing it's the woman who is in league with the Chaos Army although that makes little sense at this point.

I don't think any of the remaining people are in league with the Chaos Army. I think that bird guy will probably end up jeopardizing the mission somehow because he is butthurt over Cobra killing his best friend.

Cobra said there was one more traitor left after Queen killed that guy, I guess it's possible they were killed in the attack, but then what would be the point in Cobra pointing it out, the birdman is probably going to take advantage of any chance he gets to kill Cobra.

I fell behind on this but just watched episodes 11 and 12 with 13 loading now, the TV woman trying to get with Cobra was too funny, what's she gonna offer him, HD, weird that the cloaked guys are TV's like the duo working with Cobra, and even weirder that Cobra has already been to that castle before.

Just watched 13 and wow, can't believe you were right about Queen, Mizumi. Great series over all. My only complaint is that I would have liked to see a deeper ending rather than just ending it off with a mission.

I haven't seen the finale yet, but I guessed she would do, it was just logical that a traitor was still left amoung them, and the focus was taken off her at the start by killing the traitors so I guessed her, I've loved the series and am sad it's coming to an end, I'll be looking for the OVA you mentioned before after episode 13.

Episode 13 was awesome just like the rest, the bit where it showed his past with King was a nice touch, the only problem with the series was there was not one big goal, it was just short stories, that's why it felt like an empty ending, but still great.
BTW DDR, in the OVA does he look like in the flashback of episode 13?

Well, there are 2 OVAs. The Psychogun and Time Drive. In both he is exactly as you see him in the series, not like the flashback.
You should have watched the Psychogun first, as it's technically the first episode, but it's no big deal. His past is explained - basically you find out why he changed his face and wiped his memories. So once you watch it the last episode will make a bit more sense. And in Time Drive you find out about Lady's (Cobra's partner, the female in blue armor) past.

I see, I didn't realise "The Psychogun" episode came first, but I will check it out along with "Time Drive".
Thanks for the info.
