OKay heres my fic from ANet, AngelTech, chapters ichi and ni!

As many people believe, Heaven and the Underworld have been waging a secret war since the dawn of time. The Demons of the Nether Realm though, broke a rule. They took the war to a planet called Earth, ending this planet’s own massive war. The Demons were demagogues, preying on the human’s fears, hopes, and dreams. But no. The Demons had found a planet rich in Bio-Energy, the energy which fueled not only the universe, but the Angel’s bio-organic war machines, AngelTech. The Angel’s decided the Earth must be reclaimed and set free, but AngelTech ace and veteran Zioniri recognized a problem. Would humanity want to be saved from the Demon’s who had stabilized the Earth?

“A famous man…human once said ‘When one hunts monsters, he must be sure he does not become a monster himself’. Same applies to us. Will the humans want to have to fight again, to free themselves from stability to find new stability? They know not the vile things Demons have in store for them, think on this Tekemeul.”
Attributed to Zioniri, AngelTech Ace and self proclaimed philosopher

CHAPTER 1 Hope in a Ruin

Tekemeul stood atop a near destroyed skyscraper in a deserted town. Chicago, he thought Zioniri had called it. No matter, there had been no Demons all day, a good sign that the Angel’s and their 15’ war machines had taken a foothold on Earth. The AngelTech greatly resembled mecha from human anime he had seen once or twice. Giant hammers, he thought to himself, pushing all put his watch duties out of his head. The AngelTech was armed with a massive rifle that fired bullets as strong as human tank shells and rapid speed. He wasn’t scared of an attack; it was just that his relief was supposed have relieved him over an hour ago. He triggered the engines and leapt idly from building to building. Zioniri, his wing’s leader, had warned him ‘Watch out for Demons, be careful of’ HA! No enemies for an…
“Danger imminent! Suggest relocation of one self.” Tekemeul leapt into the air and spread his wings (with a span of 20’!). The enemy shot leveled the building beneath him. Tekemeul scanned the city.
“Where’s the enemy Avatar?” Tekemeul asked his AngelTech.
“There are four enemies, each is spreading out among the ruins to surprise you from the back,” Avatar said.
Tekemeul touched down and started running to meet the first target. The target was a stock enemy, a standard DemonVoid mecha. Tekemeul activated his heat scanners, left and up! Tekemeul leveled his rifle on the enemy mech. He squeezed off several shots. They tore through the human buildings and impacted the target. Hits were good, but didn’t shut the enemy down. Tekemeul jumped behind the DemonVoid. He triggered his AngelTech’s laser blade and decapitated the enemy. Shots rang out behind him. MOVE NOW his instinct told him. He dove left, into a pile of rubble. The enemies V-Cannon ripped through the building behind where Tekemeul had been. Tekemeul wheeled around and let loose on the DemonVoid. Dems, that was the nickname for the stock DemonVoid. Tekemeul’s shots ripped through the Dem’s head, killing the pilot. Tekemeul quickly took stock and headed off after Dem number three. The Dem rushed out from behind some rubble and dug its claws into Tekemeul’s back. It wouldn’t have hurt if Tekemeul weren’t mentally and physically linked to his AngelTech. He felt warm blood on his back, but payed no mind to it. He swung the tip of his rifle around and it smashed into the Dem’s head. Time for four….which was coming up on Tekemeul’s screens.
“Ha!” Tekemeul shouted as he pulled the trigger on his rifle,” GOTCHA!” Tekemeul slung his rifle over his back and stood there, just thinking. It could have been several minutes before humans began to emerge from their homes and wrecked buildings.
“Get outta here!” one shouted. More joined in slowly,” We don’t want your kind. Leave us alone.” It confused Tekemeul, he had just saved them. Then his scanner caught something. One of the humans was registering as an Angel.

From within the crowd of screaming citizens, Logan Arikin stood silent, staring at the equally baffled AngelTech. He couldn’t see the pilot but whenever the AngelTech came he felt odd and uneasy. A second AngelTech arrived and the crowd heard an Angel speak for the first time. Unlike the gruff and raspy voice of the Demons, the Angel’s voice was heavenly and calm.
“Let’s go home Tekemeul, they don’t want to be saved,” the Angel said. The Angel who had fought in town turned his suit’s head away from the crowd and joined the new arrival in flight. Logan knew it then and there; those Angel’s would be back.

“How come they didn’t want to be rescued Zioniri, why?” Tekemeul asked his friend and mentor.
“Because they are ignorant young one, not stupid, just ignorant of the danger in front of them. Did you see the one?” Zioniri asked.
“The one registering with Angel blood?” Tekemeul asked excited.
“Yes, his mother was Lulily,” Zioniri said.
“He is Lulily’s son! Then he…” Tekemeul was cut off.
“Arkaniakin’s son, I know.”
“This sector is vital to our success,” Tekemeul said.
“And we will come back, for us and for him.”

Logan watched the night sky, wondering when the AngelTech would return. Yes, it would be soon, so soon.

Terminology:
AngelTech: 15’ war machines shaped like people, two slots in the back allow the Angel to spread his wings and gain access to his Heavenly powers (flight, telekinesis, after practice bolts of energy etc.) Armed with a rifle that fires bolts powered like tank shells at rapid speed.
DemonVoid: 15’ to 20’ war machines used by Demons, most common being Dem class, which has claws and a Void Cannon.
Arkaniakin: Ancient Angel who first defeated the Demons.
This is all for the first chapter, I will begin Chapter 2 as soon as possible, BYE ^_^

CHAPTER 2 A Little History of Us

“My son, is he well Zioniri? Tell me,” Lulily asked the tall man in front of her. Zioniri paced around before answering.
“He is well…but…he is surrounded by people who despise us and it may catch sooner or later. If we are going to bring him in bring him now,” Zioniri stopped his pacing.
“Yes, it would be best. Refresh my memory Zioniri, how did this all start, with AngelTech and DemonVoid and what not?”
“I will recall the best I can….”

“It was around the human renaissance when the Demons set their sights on the Earth. They seeded agents into the human governments and important societies. This was the time when they restored enough of their magics to again form DemonVoid,” Zioniri started his tale.
“The DemonVoid are formed of magic?” Lulily interrupted.
“Yes, the same magics that caused our initial defeats. So we were forced to forge the AngelTech from the unused souls of vanquished warriors. These souls choose a predominant soul to be the personality the pilot must be compatible with,” Zioniri continued.
“Which is why the Blood Reaper won’t fuse with anyone?” Lulily asked.
“Yeah, your husband always was stubborn, even when he was dead,” Zioniri began again,” So in retaliation, the Demons constructed their DemonVoid from the Void magics they called upon.”
“Yes these are dark days, with the cost of lives jumping more and more through the roof every day,” Lulily said, standing from her chair and pacing to a coffee table.

The base the Angels had constructed around the human Great Lakes was almost twice as large as the state of Rhode Island. It carried over 1000 AngelTech on hand and had portals for another 2000 to be brought in upon need or expansion of the base. It looked very high-tech compared to what the humans currently had, but was based off their technology and architecture. Tekemeul was walking somewhat around the perimeter of the mess hall when fellow pilot!!! It was Sariah!!! Tekemeul tried not to act surprised, but his hello came out as,” H-h-hi S-s-s-riah, hows it g-g-going?” She gave him an odd look but continued anyway.
“Tekemeul, I’ve been reassigned to you and Zioniri’s wing, so I’ll see you all tonight kay?” Sariah waited for Tekemeul’s answer. Slightly let down by his favorite person in the whole world coming with such unimportant news, he sighed.
“Yeah, that’s great,” Tekemeul shrugged and started to walk away.
“Is something wrong Tekemeul?” Sariah stopped Tekemeul in his tracks. Tekemeul needed his brain to come up with an excuse fast, but it wasn’t working very well.
“Um….um….the human with Angel blood..it….bothers me, yeah that’s it!” Tekemeul felt relieved. Sariah gave another strange look Tekemeul’s way.
“Well, everyone shares your concern but everything will turn out fine!”

The small town was caught almost totally unaware as the Dems and a Judicator DemonVoid swept down on them. The mayor was a safe distance away, taken by his Demon employers. He had after all, tipped them off that a man in town had Angel blood. An Angel had stopped by days ago and told him. Outside of the empty mayor’s office, Logan was thrown to the ground by the force of an exploding building, the Dem turned away, presuming Logan was dead. Logan took the opportunity to run. He ran for miles until he collapsed. He wondered why until he looked at his side. Shrapnel. Then everything went black.

Tekemeul burst into Lulily’s chambers.
“Zioniri, the town with the Angel blooded man is under attack!” Almost 100 AngelTech took of from the base within minutes. They arrived at the town in about five minutes, they did fly rather fast. The lower ranked pilots began attacking Dems while Zioniri began hunting down the Judicators.
“Abominations,” Zioniri said, looking upon the twisted mech that was once a beautiful AngelTech (though if you asked a Demon he would say the AngelTech looked better after being reworked into a Judicator.) Zioniri’s AngelTech was not standard issue. It was lighter, faster, and more powerful from years of combat. Well, not just years but centuries. It had no energy blade built into its forearms, it carried and ancient sword at its hip. Its rifle was an upgraded version of the regular AngelTech’s, holding more ammunition and firing with greater accuracy. Before the Judicators stood the fearsome Quicksilver. Zioniri moved faster than the Judicators had anticipated and destroyed one before the others could even join the fray. He maneuvered around back of one and cleaved it in halve with his sword. He re-sheathed the sword and drew a bead on the third Judicator. The Judicators were confused; they had never fought such a skilled or fast enemy before. They backed up to gain time. They launched a barrage of energy lances at Quicksilver. Zioniri lunged from side to side as he avoided the energy blasts. He quickly finished off the others and went to rejoin the group but something stopped him. A DemonVoid few peopled had lived after seeing stood no more than 100 feet from Zioniri.
“So, Zioniri, we meet once more in battle…”

From his regained state of consciousness, Logan could hear a gun fight in the distance, and he hoped one side would find him before he died.

So how about that, more history next time as well as some terminology, and a bundle of secrets in Chapter 3:

Yeah, Soz about that, Ive protected these forums from HTML since it can be abused. Copy and paste it into something like notepad, then copy and paste it here from NP, that should avoid the HTML problem (and save you from having to fix EVERY quotation mark.

Anyways, keep on writting, I enjoyed it :D

A Duel Between Old Friends

Chapter 3: A Duel Between Old Friends

The AngelTech and the DemonVoid stood at least a hundred feet apart, maybe less.
"So what scum do you work for now shafai?" Zioniri was impatient with the new arrival.
"I work for no one jakait," the new arrival said. The new arrival's mech looked like a cross between the two opposing forces. It was lean like the AngelTech but red and demonic like the DemonVoid. The new arrival hoisted up a large rifle. It had two barrels unlike regular weapons.
"Did you come to fight or mock me shafai?" Zioniri began to back the Quicksilver away," fine then." Zioniri knew what Shafai had come for. Zioniri gunned his boosters and cleared the hundred foot gap in under a second. Shafai's mech was taken off its feet and collided with a building. Zioniri aimed his rifle at the building and began firing. The building came down in a cloud of smoke and rubble. Zioniri began to turn away but the rubble shot out like shrapnel and Shafai stood in its place.
"Did you really think you could get away that easy?" Shafai drew a twisted looking sword from a sheath on his back. The sword's blade was curved and black, and the handle was as evil looking. Shafai laughed he lunged a break-neck speeds towards Zioniri. Zioniri unsheathed his own weapon and the two blades meet, creating a flash of white light. The swords met again and again until the area around the fight was as bright as day (it was about midnight human time). Both fighters decided this approach was working. Both disengaged the other and took to the buildings. Zioniri switched his weapon over to I-Shells*. He fired aimlessly, trying to root out his enemy. His enemy had the upper hand though. Zioniri barely noticed the shells collided with his side, it was the building he slammed through that hurt.

Tekemeul and Sariah barely had time to duck aside as Zioniri came crashing through the building behind them. They ran and helped him get up.
"We'll help sir," Sariah said in a polite way.
"Stay outta' this," Zioniri shot back as he once again engaged his boosters, leaving the two others behind. Tekemeul couldn't see Sariah's face through the AngelTech, but he knew she was wearing the same look he was. The look was "What was that?".
"We need to find the human with angel blood," Sariah said," he's a mission objective." She leapt into the air, wings beating slowly behind her. Tekemeul followed.
"Where should we start?" Tekemeul asked.
"The only non-Chosen* life signs for miles are north of here."

Zioniri lunged left as the wall next to him exploded. He couldn't keep it up much longer. He would have to use it. Zioniri stopped and held his rifle in front of him. He pulled a black lever and the barrel seemed to vanish and then reappear, but larger. He flew to the top of the nearest non-destroyed building. He closed his eyes and began feeling for Bio-Energy*. He reopened his eyes and saw thick blue-white trails being emitted from the plants, the air and the very Earth itself. He reached out to them and they began to gather on the tip of his rifle. A few hundred feet away, Shafai saw what Zioniri was attempting. He's crazy to use the Bio-Wave Cannon*. Shafai hid behind a pile of rubble to watch the event. Tekemeul caught the same thing out of the corner of his eye.
"Sariah, look!" both turned to Zioniri, as did the other seven dozen or so survivors of the attack. Shafai began to reconsider staying.
"Now I'll finish what I started!" Zioniri pulled the trigger. Over a hundred white hot energy blasts erupted from his rifle. They made a screeching noise as they glided toward Shafai.
"No!" Shafai covered his face with his arms. The explosion looked like a mini-nuclear blast.
"Yes, HQ, this mission is over, send a pick up vehicle for me and the human."
"How did he know we found him?" Sariah was carrying Logan in her hands.
"Beats me, best not worry about it," Tekemeul said.

Logan regained consciousness but didn't open his eyes.
"So I am jakait and his is still just shafai?" Logan heard a voice saying. Logan opened his eyes several minutes later and saw a man with shoulder length platinum hair standing over him. The man was wearing a long black coat and what appeared to be a jump suit of sorts.
"You are lucky we found you when we did, you were almost dead," the man spoke.
"Where am I, who are you," Logan asked.
"You are in the care of the Angels, on the way to our HQ. I by the way, am Zioniri, Squad Captain of the Second Battalion." Zioniri moved to a forward compartment and a woman came back.
"I'm Sariah, the part time medic," she said.
"You Angels look human," Logan said.
"Yes, we first said they look like Angels too," Sariah commented.
"I have a question, what do shafai and jakait mean in your languange?" Logan asked.
"Well, that's an odd question. Shafai means brother and jakait would translate as "one who is dead to me"."
"Oh, cause I heard that other guy saying them," Logan said.
"Really, well I wouldn't worry about it."

The city was desecrated and the plant and animal life had been killed due to the draining effects of the Bio-Energy Cannon, but Shafai laughed, because he still lived……

Terminology (marked with a *)
I-Shell: Special impact shells, fire slowly but have more punch.
Chosen/non-Chosen: Refers to if a human's soul has decided to serve the Angels or Demons in the next life.
Bio-Energy Cannon: A weapon given to aces as a last resort in desperate combat. Drains the life of everything without a soul ( all non-human life forms). Creates huge blast and is incredibly hard to avoid.

Chapter 4 Blood Reaper

It was several weeks before Logan could walk and eat by himself again. The shrapnel had torn through most of his stomach, but the Angels had fixed that. In that time, he had met his mother was told he would be tested as a pilot.
"How do you test for pilots Zioniri?" Logan asked the platinum haired Angel.
"You'll find out," Zioniri lead Logan to the hangar. There were AngelTech lined up by the hundreds. There were probably a thousand of them.
"Mizu!" Zioniri shouted," get the Blood Reaper ready for a test. Now move it people." Angels began rushing around the hangar preparing tubes and things. Tekemeul walked up behind Logan.
"Exactly what rank does Zioniri actually hold?" Logan asked.
"Well in theory he's not even a registered pilot but he's severed since the first wars. He's actually your father's lutanna," Tekemeul said.
"What's a lutanna," Logan asked.
"That's a servant to one's wife," Tekemeul answered.
"How did someone so powerful like him end up in such a low rank like that?"
"It would be a low rank but he was the lutanna of the Angels greatest hero, Arikinian," Tekemeul said. Zioniri came back.
"Oh, Zioniri I had a…."Tekemeul was cut off.
"Save it for later lets go Logan, this is never easy the first time."

Logan and Zioniri stood before and AngelTech with a red streak on its chest.
"What's that red stuff?" Logan asked.
"Its not called Blood Reaper for no reason. We couldn't get the blood off after it came back during the war. Here's how this is going to work. You are going to walk up to that panel on the AngelTech's leg. Do it now," Zioniri sounded forceful, more than usual at least. Logan approached the legs of the AngelTech.
"Open the panel and place your palm in the liquid." Logan opened the panel and there was a white liquid cube floating inside it. He stuck his hand into the cube. All the colors around him began to whirl and merge and he seemed to pass out.

Logan woke up inside a white void. What? Where?
"Logan….Logan….Logan can you still hear me just call out?" a voice echoed from nowhere.
"Yes, where am I?" Logan called out.
"You're doing well, the bonding is going to begin, hold tight…. or just float there that's okay too," Zioniri said. There was a flash and a translucent body hung in front of Logan. It absorbed into him and he felt pain like never before..pain, so much pain.Pain.Pain!! Then it stopped and the void was no longer white. He was sitting in a chair. His feet were on two pedals and a console sat before him. Two tubes made of flexible material hung limp at his side.
"You did it! You're the first person to merge with Blood Reaper in over 10,000 years!!! Press the blue button on the console," Zioniri said. Logan did as he was told and his feet were strapped to the pedals.
"Put your arms in the two tubes," Zioniri shouted. Logan again did as he was told and the tubes tightened on his arms. Logan pulled his arms up and the arms of the AngelTech moved with him.
"The AngelTech is just an extension of your body now!" Zioniri yelled. The console moved it self to the corners of his field of vision and became a radar sensing bio-energy and other statistical read-outs.
"Zioniri, I can feel something on my back, what is it?" Logan asked.
"That's the Reaper, the rifle for BloodReaper. Reach around your back and get it." Logan moved his hand to where he knew the handle was and the AngelTech did the same. He grasped the rifle. It was cold but that was expected after not being used for 10,000 years.
"Now you'll learn to spread your wings," Zioniri said," this is hard to explain. Search for a part of you you know is there but you have never used before. Those are your wings. They will spread on their own if you know where to find them." Logan found that spot. It was between TV and turkey sandwiches, but never mind where it was. Logan's wings spread out behind him.
"The wings act as boosters for the AngelTech and you control them by thinking," Zioniri said," know time to get out of your AngelTech. Just swipe your hand over the red panel on your lower right console." Logan did just that and after a brief flash of light found himself falling to the ground. He touched down with ease.
"That was a thirty foot fall at least! How did I…"
"Because you are an Angel, that is why," Zioniri said," you have done very well today. Very well indeed."

A thousand miles from there, six AngelTech lumbered though a rough bit of terrain. They carried no markings or anything but their obvious design to denote they were Angels.
"Hey boss," one said," are you sure the human convoy came this way?"
"Yes, ah! Here they are now…OPEN FIRE! KILL THEM ALL!" Hundreds of AngelTech swooped down on unknowing human convoy. The six forward scouts had done their job well. In the aftermath of the wreckage, one man walked to a fallen truck and picked a computer disk up off a dead body. Shafai smiled, for only he and a few others knew what the convoy was really carrying. It wasn't the food or the ammo on the cargo list. NO! It was this disk. With a maniacal glint in his eye, Shafai set back for his AngelTech.

A radio worker came rushing into the hangar.
"The convoy carrying the plans for "Project Savior" came under attack by separatists!" he yelled.
"Everyone suit up, you too Logan," Zioniri ran for his AngelTech," you better hope you're gone by now Shafai, because you won't get away this time." The Second Battalion took off in a matter of minutes.

Next time: Logan and a AngelTech separatist ace meet in combat, and the Separatist movement proves it is a dangerous as the Demons when it gets away with the plans for Project Savior. Next chapter------Savior under Fire!

Not many people are responding to our fics... or maybe it's just because of all of the "bring it back from anet" thing that keeps them from responding. Oh well, maybe if we post new chapters, they'll actually respond more.

Chapter 5: Savior under Fire

It was a bleak scene at the human convoy. The tanks didn’t even have enough fire power to even scratch an AngelTech. Zioniri walked ahead of the other three hundred members of the Second Battalion. Tekemeul, Sariah, and Logan followed only a few paces behind.
“They went south,” Zioniri spoke at last. The squad commanders shot each other looks of doubt over the video monitors. Zioniri had made hunches before but this was odd.
“Um…sir..how do you know?” the leader of the first squadron asked.
“Shafai was with them and I can feel him, he leaves a taint on Bio-Energy trails he is so twisted,” Zioniri said. AngelTech and DemonVoid did give off trails of Bio-Energy but one man being able to warp them?
“Sir this is ludicrous,” squad leader B said,” we don’t know where they are, how many there are, or what model suit they’re wearing!”
“They went south, there are approximately three hundred separatists and all were issued AngelTech C-22 suits before they separated,” Zioniri said quite matter of factly. Everyone formed back up in his or her squads and the Battalion headed south. It was hours and hours before the Separatists were on the scanners.
“Okay everyone,” a tech from the third squad said,” I’ve set a tracer to resonate with the disc we need, so stay sharp!” In several minutes the Second Battalion was over the Atlantic Ocean and the Separatists lay only miles ahead of them. The Separatists had turned to face their enemies as well.
“Get that disc at all costs!” Zioniri shouted,” everything is forfeit as long as we get that disc!” The AngelTech screamed into battle, Separatists forces meeting loyal forces head on. Allied and Separatist AngelTech were going down all over the place. The night was lighting up like day.
“Sir…Zioniri! That’s no C-22…. AAAAGGGGHHH!” Zioniri heard the last words of the second squad leader. Shafai was in the skirmish. Zioniri found Shafai before Shafai found him and he got in the first shot. A high powered round collided with Shafai’s torso and sent him spiraling. A shrill laughter erupted from Shafai’s modified AngelTech. It was not the laughter of a sane man; it was the laughter of a man of his last hinge.
“Don’t you have anything bigger than that Brother?” Shafai screamed, gunning his engine and closing in for a counter strike.
“Shion was my brother, not some crazed deserter!” the blades of the two warriors met again and again.

Logan was faring quite well. The BloodReaper was a very exceptional AngelTech. Logan himself was getting the hang of piloting as well. Allies and enemies flew around, shots were flying and adrenaline was pumping. Logan lined up an enemy in his sights and squeezed the trigger. Several shots tore through the enemy’s torso. A definite kill. From nowhere, an enemy rocketed in and took Logan off guard. BloodReaper spiraled towards the ocean but Logan stabilized the mech and turned to face his enemy. He unsheathed BloodReaper’s sword and the two opposing forces flew toward each other and the blades crashed. They weaved in and out of other AngelTech and clashed over and over. Neither contestant in this contest was gaining the upper hand. Logan gunned the boosters and came in fast. He ducked under a high swing and gutted the enemy. That wasn’t going to stop the enemy though. The enemy AngelTech brought its arms down on BloodReaper’s head. Logan was dizzied by the blow and was left open for another attack to the stomach. Logan collided with two or three random AngelTech before he regained his bearings. The enemy ace rushed in and…mistake! Logan saw the enemy’s brash mistake. His head was wide open! Logan swung the sword and the enemy’s head came clean off.

Tekemeul gunned several more AngelTech separatists out of the air. His moves were graceful and he and Sariah were quite a team. No enemy could stand in their way, and then they spotted Zioniri and Shafai. Neither fighter was gaining any hand and they were taking down other AngelTech in their struggle. Until Shafai left himself open. Open in a place he should always have covered. Zioniri brought QuickSilver’s sword down on Shafai’s wings. The feathers detached from the others as the main part was separated from Shafai’s body. Shafai screamed. It was the insane scream. It was a scream of pain and of hopelessness. Zioniri went further and stuck his sword into Shafai’s stomach. A small pouch fell from Shafai’s AngelTech.
“Fall back! Retreat!” Shafai yelled as several of his soldiers grabbed him and hauled him away.
“Don’t fallow,” Zioniri said,” we got what we came for.” After retrieving the disc form the ocean, Zioniri and the Second Battalion headed home.

At a conference for higher up later that day, the Angel and Human governments revealed to their troops and the world the Angel’s new allie… the Human GeoSavior. The humans had a mech and a ray of hope.

Next time in part 6, the GeoSavior gets its field test, but the Separatists want to make up for lost time by squashing the operation. IN AngelTech 06: Ray of Hope!

I hope ANet gets back up cause some moron deleted chapters 7-9...
