maiken tiberius-i just got the name maiken from the old guy from ffx(i forgot his name but when i say maiken,his face pops out^_^) and i got the name tiberius from my classmate and my sister's boyfriend^___^ i like both the names...its kinda sounds like an 'ancient' word.

Well, my first child was named for me and my wife's father. That's been a tradition in my family for about 300 years, naming the first son with the father's first name and the maternal grandfather's first name as the middle name. Fortunately the name's ok, and we didn't really screw him on that one.

The second child was named for my great grandmother, just 'cos we liked the name while looking through the family tree, and my wife's grandmother, who is still alive.

The next one, so far, will be Daniel Stephen if it's a boy, and Stephanie Christine if it's a girl. My wife will probably change our mind for us a couple of times before it actually matters, though. That's kind of naming it, either way, after my wife, who was going to be Stephen had she been a boy.

Frozen Shade took mine. Dawn, no questions asked. I swear, if I ever have a daughter and her first name isn't Dawn, I'm totally going to die. It's a name I hold very close to me, and the name of a friend I've had since I was four years old. Dawn for a daughter, and I do plan on having kids and the whole family thing, no matter how much people tell me "You're too young to be thinkin' about that." Were there another girl, I'd pick Dawn 2. Or maybe just Alexandra (Name of my sister, actually.)

As for a boy? Still a bit on the undecided side of things here. I've contemplated the entire grand scale of names, but can't really come up with anything good. If worse comes to worse, I'll just call him David and carry on some wacky family tradition of every other first born son being named "David." Thank God I didn't get stuck with that one.
