Just wanted to know what everyone thoguht.
Do you like how most companies transition from manga to TV or not?

I do in thiat it might make it better suited for a series but then again may lose so good details.

Let me know what you think.

Well, I think that you can never ever create the ambiance that a manga has, nor try and compete with it.
Most companies show that and create something entirely new out of a Manga, and twist some of the stories etc...
But hey... I like having both the manga and the anime, so i can compare but also to simply watch them both, it's a bit like having two stories to watch no>?

Never mind, me is rambling.. shoot me

Well.....

...this is a bit like debating about how the book always is better than the movie.
Seeing as how the anime work on a tighter time schedule, they have to cut parts out of it that might have been better to keep in. And to be able to cut those parts out they have to change other parts. Making sense? Hopefully.
Anyhow, there are good and bad ways of doing this, but I say as Cain said, it's a bit like having two stories to watch, ne?

seeing as I often watch the anime first, I often get pleasantly surprised by the manga ^_^

Though I have to say that I quite enjoyed the VGA anime.
Oh, and I'll not shoot you cain ^^

Okay, how about the anime to manga series?
(I decided to post in here rather than make a new thread).
What do you like about that? Which is generally better? (I'm generalizing here, by the way.)

Using the Evagenlion saga is a bad example BBD. Evangelion was one of the first animes to ever release the anime first instead of the manga. To our surprise the anime did a lot better than the manga. Could be because the Japanese people saw the anime series first and then read the manga, but I'm not sure?? Either way, it is true, mostly all of the mangas are far better than the anime show. Hmmm...I'm starting to remember how fun it is to read a manga and create the voice overs in your head.
