Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles sketch

This is just a doodle I started in school(before the break, so lots of free time) and just kept detailing it and fixing it up. Its design was originally from a Clavat from Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. Please leave your comments and tell me if it looks propotion. It might look a little weird because I took the picture with a digital camera...

The first one

Your characters is flat and not very creative. His clothes are a little unbalanced and his shape his off. Could use some better shading.

The front perspective is not the best way to show depth.
If you try from harder angles it will improve both your knowlage of composition of the human body as well as improve your drawing ablilities.
Your not bad, I am interested to see your work in a year or so.
