chapter 173 *SPOILERS*

Well the RAW for chapter 173 is out and it looks to be a pretty good chapter. Renji steps up to defend Rukia against captain Aizen. Which is a another good fight. Seeing as my ability to read Japanese is zero I don't know whats being said I'm just looking at the artwork. Discuss the new chapter.

There is a rough translation.

Renji's just saying he will always protect her even if she dies, he wants to know why Azien killed all the others.

Then they talk about how Renji was always powerful but was always an annoyance, talks about Jin, and the blind guy being the only guy he trusts.

Ichigo comes in straight with his Bankai? Thats pretty good, im sure it's tiring to keep it in that form for so long, considering this is like the first time(day) He's ever used it in a fight.

I have a feeling that Ichigo will need to turn into the Hollow hybrid to actually win this fight.

Next weeks chapters gonna be amazing though how much longer can Ichigo last using Ban Kai considering hes already used it in battle and hasn't had must rest since, hence the zanpukhtoh still being in Ban Kai form. Hopefully the shinigami that looks the same as Ichigo just with black hair and a plaster on his cheek helps Ichigo out. seeing as that would provide a bit of comic relief as Inoue struggles to understand there beuing two Ichigos. However I think its probably gonna be a straight out fight scene chapter.

Yeah, he did die, he got defeated by that hollow and then Rukia had to kill him, remember?

Anyways, perhaps Onihime healed Ichigo in the space between the fights? Failing that...there's no way that Ichigo can hold that ban kai.

whats so special about rukia? and why is it that whenever ichigo "level's up" his sword it always stays in that form?

i didn't really understand what Aizens sword really did, only the people that saw the swords first .... technique (?) are affected? or just anyone that looks at the sword? for ex. will ichigo be affected by Aizen's technique?

I want to know Rukia's secret as well. Hmmm I hope Ichigo doesn't go and fight Aizen right away, so suddenly. I want to know some of the details as to why some of this is happening first.

Look on page 9 of chapter 172, near the top in the middle of the page. Theres another guy that kinda looks like Ichigo.

That guy is only a vice captain and got defeated by the 5th seat of another division. He's nothing compared to Aizen or Ichigo, especially as Aizen has hypnotised every vice captain.

No suprise that Ichigo turned up though, I want him to use the Hollow hybrid again. Is it just me or does it remind anyone else of the armour from Berserk?

When Ichigo got back to save Rukia from the sacrqafice thing, he looked exactly like a version of Gatts, they way he was bandaged up and holding his sword, and he had a cape too i believe.

Well because...everything that's happening at the moment is sort of revolving around Rukia, so I want to know what her deal is :P
