He's young, cool, intelligent and has both wicked hairstyle + bankai. Can't beat that!

yep yep here too. Hitsugaya Toushirou is my favorite. Zaraki Kenpachi is second. He just haves that psyco look and he's the only one without Bankai and he's extremely powerfull for someone without it.

Kenpachi all the way! Iv'e said it before and I'll say it again the man is a beast! He got Captain rank on sheer power alone damn it, and he looks cool to boot. It was great when he was ordering Komamura and Tousen to unleash their Ban Kai on him.

Oh and Byakuya is great too, the guy is cold! Not to mention powerful.

Kurotshuchi Mayuri

He's just insane...the guy can paralyze his victims with his bankai and turn blood into poison. He also seems unstoppable, seeing how he can reconstruct his body and stuff.

Zaraki Kenpachi is also awesome, pure strength...nothing can stop the guy.

...Man...looks like I'm the only one who likes Ichimaru Gin. He's my
favorite, without question. Nothing beats a villianish guy with a smile
plastered to his face. Not to mention his zanpaku is one of the most
interesting. He also, as Rukia refered to him as, reminds me of a snake.
He's so delightfully evil and cruel, but all in a passive and happy-go-lucky
manner. What's not to love?

Mine is Kyouraku Shunsui. He's clam, he's cool , and he's collected. He dosent like to fight, but when he does you better watch out! i guess he kinda reminds me of myself except for the wierd pink flowery coat XP

Favorite captain hmmm....at first it was hitsugaya cuz i thought prodegy white haired kid kicked ass but after he got schooled by "you know who" he kinda just lost it for me......

now i would have to say the old guy. Genryuu Yama, he friggin kicks ass. Just plain old badass. If you guys havnt read the manga you wouldnt understand...

After reading again, I found that Kenpachi was a pretty cool dude himself.
He wasn't all bad and he just had an awesome passion for the thrill of the
fight. I didn't see him as being necesarrily evil actually. After all, the
story between him and his vice-captain was so sweet too. He was a really
nice guy though he doesn't show it through his words, but his mannerisms
and actions say different. The only flaw I saw him was that he was a little
naive on using his zanpaku.

I prefer Ichimaru Gin as my favorite captain, he is always smiling and you can raelly never tell whats going on in his head. Being the 3rd Captain tells you something.

It's either one of them that is the evil one, it could be Toushirou because he said to look out for Gin, telling me that he's trying to throw everyone off, then there is that note, she was too surprised for it to be Gin.

And then Gin looks like he's the evil one with that perpetual smile. THat's what I love about Bleach and these characters, the mystery!

1. Toushiro, doesn't get scared easily.
2. Byakuya, logical, calm, pwnage...

After that, I liked Aizen. He got killed off way too quickly, he definitely had potential to be one of my all time favorite characters.

Then after that, Kyouraku Shunsui. He's hilarious! Especially when it comes to Nanao-chan ^_^;;

And... that's all I really like.

My favorite is Isshin Kurosaki, Ichigo's dad. I'm not too sure if he's a captain, but he has captain clothing as a shinigami, and kinda says he is one.

I have watched about 10 more episodes and have gained more favorite captains.By this time I like pretty much all of them except for Kuchiki Byakuya.I dont know why, I just dont like him.Anyway...My three favorites among the captains are Ichimaru Gin (As I previously stated), Hitsugaya Toushirou, and Zaraki Kenpachi.

I would have to say that I have two favorite captains. I really like Kyouraku Shunsui and Ukitake Juushiro. Ukitake's character is so elegant looking and Shunsui, well you just gotta love him b/c of his attitude. :D

I do not see why there is an argument between everybody here. It is obvious the biggest badass is Kenpachi. He is INSANE. The guy is just crazy.

Who the hell puts bells on their hard so that others can hear them? He laughs when he gets cut and just has fun when he almost got his whole left side severed. He has this Alucard (someone all ready said it too) feeling to him.

The guy as i said is INSANE. He is one of the top 5 coolest anime characters of all time. Alucard is also there. I would also have to add Vegeta (i know, but he is just a badass character)

Ukitake Jyuushiro - He is on the good side as such and he looks cool. Sure he has some weird disease but that don't bother me. I like the double Zanpaktous his Skikai was sweet in the latest episode.

He lazy, doesnt like to fight but when he does he can really kick ass.
Hes also a veteran seeing as he is one of the first captains and he can hold his own with the long white hair dude, against ganryuu.

Second, holy **** kenpachi is bad ass.
How he just lives to fight and hes not that bad a guy and plus he doesnt need a bankai to fight any one.

1.Kyouraku Shunsui,- Like his personality and peacefulness, yet he can kick ass.

2.Zaraki Kenpachi,- What's not to like about him? He just a badass. period

3.Ukitate Jyuushiro,- I really like this guy alot. his facial features, his kindness, underated, good friends with Shunsui. All around likable guy.

4.Yamamoto Genryuusai- I didn't think much of him other than being simply the head dude. My Opinion change when I saw How jacked he is for an 100 year old guy. All I can say is "HOLY ****!" Seriously I would not want to mess with him.

5.Hitsugaya Toushirou,- I like this kid. His appearence, facial expressions, attidude, and etc all attract me like a magnet. He just one of those people you have to like. Besides, he reminds me of Ed Elric(both face and voice(yea same actress))

6.Tousen Kaname- When I first saw him I was like, "Why a black dude has a japanese name?!" after that, I started liking him for accepting Kohmomura Sajin who he is. That and he just look cool. Though don't understand why he went with Aizen.

7.Urahara Kisuke,- Mysterious yet influenical.

8.Yoruichi- I just love her. Sexy beast...Meow!

9.Unohana Retsu,- So calm, elegent, and peaceful looking yet has excellent healing powers. Very esstential to the group.

Thouse are my fav and the reason.
