yes there is another one already out its still a manga i mentioned it earlier its called ghost in the shell two man machine-interface im not sure if or when they will come i with the anime ummm i dont think it follows the first one but i cant expect it to be anything less than spectacular Mamoru Oshii did it. He also did the original Ghost in the Shell and Jin- Roh which is also awesome if u havent seen it i havent gotten a chance to pick up man machine interface but hopefully i will soon last i heard they were planning on the anime to come out some where around 2005 but im not sure on that one.

I enjoyed Man machine interface, though it is not as good as the original. It often gets too technical, but as long as you getthegist of the story your fine.
I only have thw first three issues from dark horse, and the first one wasn't that good. Of course, you need it for the other ones which have been so far reaaly good.

The manga is really good, IMO, but different from the movie (I loved the movie though). I think the series Stand Alone Complex is closer to the manga, if you've seen that.

I've seen the manga but the first one wasn't there so i passed on it, as for the series (stand alone complex), it has some of the best animation i've ever seen in a television series and the stories , while a little confusing occasionally, are intriguing and plain ol' neat! (yay! run on sentence!) though I will say that I didn't care for the series at first , they don't pick up from the movies end, I was sucked in by episode 3 and I was near tears when I couldn't find any of the episodes after 4. Thankfully the new ones are coming out at a more rapid pace now so the happiness shall continue to invade my spine so that the smiley keeps on working :D anyways, my point is that the series is a must-watch... no that sounds too assertive..umm... a great way to spend a few hours...no thats too suggestive...hmmm..BY JOVE I'VE GOT IT! it's an animated series!...........that's not an opinion at all.... ahhhhh screw it. BYE-BYE!
