OK, I have to set the stage for you; otherwise, you might miss out on this hour of prophecy.

I'm staying at my family's house for Christmas because I'm an idiot. Anyway, I can't smoke marijuana in front of everyone, obviously. So I have to wait until everyone sleeps, which can be pretty late for my family because they're The Man. They want to catch me, but I am a bunny rabbit with really strong legs.

The other night I stayed up so goddamn late because my family speeds on crystal meth. After they finally sucked each other off enough to fall asleep, I snuck outside and lit up a fat bowl of hydro.

I came back inside to watch TV, but everything sucked. I was about to commit suicide when I looked into my CD collection to spot the glorious album that everyone should bow down and suck the **** of: The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd.

The album is spontaneous genius at its best. In a day and age where everyone sh*ts on themselves, I'm very happy that Floyd bothered with the cynical and densely layered brilliance of "Money," the powerful and over-the-top "The Great Gig in the Sky," and the lush canvas that is "Any Colour You Like."

Some may call it overrated. These people obviously haven't studied the deft creativity at work in "Dark Side." For an album from 1973, it was far ahead of its time, and I still haven't heard anyone duplicate it or come anywhere close to its supremacy.

My friend once set up an intricate system in which he could grow weed in the running water of a local stream. Then his dad found it and destroyed it out of anger. That's art thrown to the wolves.
