Wow, i'm still watching the 1st episode but I really wasn't expecting such a show. I thought it was going to be like a KnJ type show but this is even better, an actual storyline and great artwork. A winner in my books

Kure-nai episode 1 was very good. It definitely, by the first episode, has established itself as one of the more promising anime this season. Hopefully it won't disappoint, unlike a bunch of anime which already have this spring.

Ep 2 was good. Shintaro has some strange powers apparently. I also laughed at Murasaki's angry voice when he bopped her on the head a couple times.

Watched episode 2 and Murasaki is growing very quickly on me. She was a bit of a ***** in the 1st episode but shes becoming so much more lovable. Storyline is simple enough yet has that quirk to it (his arm, seriously wtf is going on there) to keep you watching. Everything about this show is awesome

I was also surprised that Shin had some super human strength...he kinda reminds me of the guy in "Darker than Black", BK201. There's something odd with the animation, almost seems a bit jerky or something...as if it's been hand animated or something. Maybe it's because i'm watching it on a 50" LCD HDTV...dunno.

So far I don't think the comedy label is very fitting for the genre. Its deffinatlly more drama to me but there have been a few humorous moments like the whole milk thing. The whole bath scene was hardly fap worthy though

I really enjoy this series and it's just getting better for me. Indeed that part where the 3 people are all talking at once was pretty cool. Can tell that Murasaki kinda likes Shinkuro too in the train scene before the fight they had. Also Murasaki is so damn cute too. Not sure if she would be classified as a tsundere or not but shes awesome

Btw this anime reminds me Blood+. Saya + Hagi couple and some strong companies. Animations are similar too. Surely likeable for now i hope they keep this up.

Innocent Venus is a nice mix of Code Geass and something else who's name escapes me. It has 3d cgi blend in places that varies from passable to complete sh1t. Its alright though and its only 13 episodes long with an ending.

And everyone needs to see Baccano!

Ghost Slayers Ayashi--was originally planned for 52 episodes, but bombed in Japan. Had potential, but didn't succeed.
Ouran High School Host Club--reverse harem. I assume your not interested in that. :p
Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien--Not good at all. Another drama/romance slice of life anime.

Well in episode 4 we finally get to see exactly what was trying to bust it's way out of Shinkuro's arm. Didn't expect something like that but awesome none the less. Murasaki continues to be damn cute and learning how to clean and all that stuff. I still love this series

I also wonder how long this anime will run for...If it's 13 episodes, I suppose the real villain will be revealed soon enough, instead of these small missions that resolve in an episode.

Well episode 5 is out and I still love this show. Murasaki seemed a little worried/shocked to see Shinkurou sparing with Yuuno (or is it Yuuna? she isn't interesting enough to remember) but it will be interesting to see where that goes. I doubt it will be 13, high production values went into the art, voice acting, and other aspects. Also this is the spring, most series will be 24-26 episodes long.

Since wiki has no confirmed number of episodes to be aired, i'm taking that as a sign that this will run about 24 or so episodes. Usualy new anime seems to be updated with that info either before the show has even started to air, or when it is half through.

All that aside however the show is still great. Cute episode where it seemed the whole point of it was for Murasaki to have some fun memories which is nice. While i'm not getting bored of the show, I do kinda wish that the main storyline would kick back in and there would be some sort of conflict where Shinkurou was forced to actualy do some work as a bodyguard. Right now he is more of a babysitter which is a bit disappointing because the show really picks up with the action sequences. I want someone to find her, try and take her back and have Shinkurou beat them up and protect her so she becomes more attached to him. Hopefully we still have 18 episodes for that to happen in though.

Another funny episode where the main story has finaly kicked off again. Now that it has though, I don't want it to because I want a happy ending for Shinkurou and Murasaki. Although I dont really see how that could happen. I guess she could just live with him. Oh well next week for episode 8.

As Kurenai continues to develop in episode 7, I’m discovering that this series is as much about Shinkurou as it is about Murasaki and her interactions in the “outside world”. And this is turning out to be a good thing. I was pleased to see that Murasaki was out of that hideous drab she’d been wearing for the past couple of episodes and finally had on something sensible….Hopefully I’m not being misunderstood as some lolicon right now, like someone later in the episode. It’s just that Wizard of Oz outfit she’d had on was annoying the crap out of me!

Man, Tamaki really doesn’t hold anything back. Her interactions with Murasaki and how she loves to amuse herself by talking to Murasaki as if she’s just “one of the girls” is absolutely hilarious. You learn a great deal about who Tamaki really is, she’s portrayed in a very real light. The sign of a good anime is when the characters become more than just typical, anime archetypes. For instance, they could of stopped at Tamaki’s know-it-all perspective on men and women from a non-personal view. Instead, they go one step further and show her interacting with her boyfriend, displaying a very human side of her.

There’s not much screen time for Shinkurou and what you get is more of the same. I like Shinkurou but I’m thankful that Kurenai isn’t always about him. It creates more depth and rounds out the world. The second half of the episode goes into the backstory of Murasaki & her family and we finally see some dots connecting. They managed to pack in a surprising amount of content in this chapter, especially in comparison to the filler crap we got in number six. We get to see the type of person Renjo really is. I see how they were going easy on the guy previously, trying to emote some sympathy for him, before they finally went out and said it: Renjo will be the jerkoff of the story.

At least we get a nice expression after he gets verbally owned by Souju using his own words against him. I’m sure there’s a jerkoff or two above Renjo making him the way he is, but for now he’s a scapegoat for my hate. Every story needs one these guys. They’re the ones that create the conflict, something that looks like is finally going to happen in the next episode. Appears like the real story is going to get rolling real soon.

this last episode crossed a little into the strange side I think. something about a 7yo kissing an adult on the lips and the same 7yo's older brother coming to get her because she is supposed to have his child that just creeps me out a bit. still interesting show so far though, ill see what happens.

Yea I loved this show, the op was eye candy. The ending was unexpected though...I wanted to see Shinkuro and Murasaki together. Not romantically of course, but how cool would it be if Murasaki followed in Shin's footsteps and became his student? Eh, maybe not. Any kind of s2 is welcome.
