watermelons that is!
So yeah, this year i have atempted my very first container garden, of sorts.

why containers? if you have ever tried to plant anything in georgia clay, you know the answer.

dispite being fairly cramped my sugar babies are doing great! they went from tiny 5" tall plants, to sprawling nearly four feet from one side to the other in a couple of weeks.

i'm seeing some blossoms forming and i expect them to open up anyday now ^___^

with any luck i'll have some nice 10lb+ fruit but the end of the summer

With watermelons, you should cut a hole in the top and in the side. Fill the top hole with pure grain ethanol and the hole in the side will let the water drain out. Eat the watermelon and get shitfaced. Then grope Ryan's ass and/or Pinky's/Quul's melons and make a lame pun about how melons are like breasts.

I have an entire vege patch, it has onions and leeks and tomatos and broccoli and melons and pumpkins and herbs and potatoes and assorted things. But i've never gotten any fruit out of my melons, or pumpkins for that mater and the plants look quite similar...
Dunno, maybe the bees in my area don't like them, the tomatos spew fruit so there must be insects around somewhere...
