i was turning a tire today(don't ask) and it came across my mind as i stared into the turning black: FLCL is a collection of anime cliche, but each has a twist that makes the series unique. 1: Giant robot fights, twist: the robots spring out of a 12-year-old's head 2. Main character pilots transforming robots, twist: the robot has to eat him first. 3. The main character is torn between at least 2 girls, twist: one is an alien from another dimension and the other is a pratical slut who's supposed to be going out with his brother. 4.Takes place in a Japanese city, twist: That Japanese city can't be found on a map, as preusual. those are just a few. i think maybe this anime was almost made as one large parody. makes sense to me.

Well, it really isn't made to mean ANYTHING. I may have a meaing outside of FLCL, but in the show it has sort of a....gawd how do you explain it.... a wide range of meanings. They use it to discribe Naota's head and the stuff the comes outta it (which is where we got "I take it in the furi kuri" aka head) and sometimes furi kuri means sex usually in the first and last episodes with Naota's dad and grandpa. So basicly, it means nothing and everything. A strange catch phrase. LOL Watch the last episode and you'll see what I mean. The scene in which Raharu comes back. Naota's dad basicly asks "Enough already, what the hell does furi kuri mean?!". You'll have to see it for yourself.

Sounds good. Kinda'. The only thing I have against it is the way you throw around the term newbie. Not everyone had the chance to get the DVDs and Adult Swim was their only way. Bu-ut, I don't wanna argue... cuz' I understand where you're coming from.

Now, for some suggestions on new names for the pre-adult swim whores. How about pimps? We're basically going to be teaching the "newbs" what we know. And the three pimps we do have can be called "Head/Lead Pimps" or something. *shrug* I dunno'. Just a thought. I'd really only go with that though if we get a flood of new whore applicants.
