I've been trying to look around for some comedy/romance anime.

I cant seem to being finding any that would really get me into the series.

I'm just wondering if anyone could give me some selections of anime that they have liked so I can try them out also.

Thanks! ;)

Ergo Proxy, I love it.

DUDE, seriously.

Ergo Proxy has NO comedy and very little (almost nothing) romance.

Just watch Clannad or Kannon 2006.

NANA isn't really comedic, but it does have some. It's more dramatic.

It just rocks and you'll get hooked! :D

The one I've enjoyed the most lately is Kannagi. Otherwise Kanon, AIR, Clannad, or Hayate no Gotoku!

What about this Ugly Yet Beautiful World. That's a romantic comedy about an alien from space who comes to destroy earth, but ends up falling in love with a guy named Takeru.

I'll give you these recommendations too.

I took the information for these animes from Wikipedia...Just so ya know.

Itazura Na Kiss-
Itazura na Kiss tells the love story of Kotoko and Naoki from their days as high school students to their marriage. The story continues after the marriage as they continue to grow as a couple. The story starts with Kotoko finally building up the courage to confess to Naoki Irie by giving him a love letter but was rejected in front of everybody. After that humiliating moment, she decided to give up on her love for Naoki. That same day, the Aihara's newly-built home was destroyed during a mild earthquake due to poor construction. They ended up staying in the Irie household thus starting the development of their relationship.

Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers)-
Makino Tsukushi, a working-class girl, attends an eliteescalator school (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escalator_school) called Eitoku Academy, populated by children from rich, high-society families. She is the "weed" of the school, surrounded by all the rich kids, including the "Flower" Four (F4). The F4 leader and son of the wealthiest, most powerful family in Japan, Domyouji Tsukasa, takes an interest in Tsukushi, because she is the only girl at Eitoku who doesn't fawn over him. However, his hot-headed nature and bullying ways are originally a major turn-off for Tsukushi, who has her sights set on someone else.
The violinist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violin) Rui Hanazawa, Tsukasa's best friend, becomes Tsukushi's first serious romantic interest. He is a quiet and cold guy, but he has a soft spot for his close friend and Tsukushi's idol, the model (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_(person)) Todo Shizuka, whom he harbored feelings for since childhood. His character is a bit complex, and always has changing feelings for Tsukushi, but above all cares about her in a friendly way.
The other two members of the F4 are Mimasaka Akira, the laid-back peacemaker of the group, and Nishikado Sōjirō, an unrepentant playboy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Womanizer). They both usually have at least one girlfriend at any one time; Akira prefers older women because the women of his household (his mother and two younger sisters) are quite silly. Sojiro is happy to be in casual relationships with many women, although we later discover that at one time he was in love with a childhood friend.
Over the course of the series, however, Tsukushi's feelings evolve, and she begins to appreciate the degree of change that occurred in Tsukasa once he fell in love with her. He becomes fiercely loyal to Tsukushi and believes in her beyond all doubt, and slowly gets her to see him in a different light. The physical obstacles and emotional challenges of their rocky high-school courtship form the basis of the story. Other themes include Tsukushi's attempt to fit in at the school, the problems of her family's lifestyle and income, and the decadent lifestyle of upper-class Japanese girls.

KimiKiss Pure Rouge-
Kōichi Sanada wakes from a dream where his younger self was crying. When he goes to answer the door, he finds a beautiful woman standing in front of him. She quickly enters while reacquainting herself with things in the house, and even enters the shower. A confused Kōichi tries to remember if he knew a girl like this in the past, when his friend Kazuki Aihara comes in. A misunderstanding is caused when the girl comes out of the bathroom, but she suddenly realizes who Kazuki is. Kazuki also realizes who the girl is: his childhood friend Mao Mizusawa. Finally realizing this, Kōichi welcomes Mao back. When Kōichi’s mother begins talking to Mao about her living in France, Kōichi notices how much Mao has changed. The story then continues with them going to the same school. Many relationships are formed with different people during their school years but always thought to be a mistake as Mao realizes her true feelings toward Kōichi. Telling him of her feelings gets him confused as he always thought of her as a sister, always thinking of her gets Yūmi worried as he never seems to be focused. As it is nearly time for Yumi to move away, she puts on a brave face so she doesn't upset Kōichi while he is still in his endless daydream. Nearing the end, Kōichi finally realizes who he truly loves and tells Yūmi (which you could already tell by looking at him) before he heads out to find Mao. Having found her, tells her of his feelings and it finishes with a kiss.

Myself;Yourself-
Myself ; Yourself is set in 2007 in the fictional town Sakuranomori in W Prefecture which is modeled after Wakayama Prefecture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wakayama_Prefecture), Japan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan). The town is in a quiet, rural area on the southern tip of the prefecture and borders the Pacific Ocean (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific_Ocean). Sakuranomori is the birthplace of Sana Hidaka, a sixteen year old high school student, who grew up with his childhood friends Nanaka Yatsushiro, & Aoi Oribe, his best male friend Syusuke Wakatsuki, and his twin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twin) sister Syuri Wakatsuki. Sana left Sakuranomori when he was eleven years old, but returns five years later living on his own in the apartment building Aoi's family runs. Sana soon finds out that while some things have stayed the same, there are still just as many things that have changed.

True Tears-
True Tears revolves around a high school student named Shinichirō Nakagami with a high artistic ability. He lives with his mother, father, and fellow high school student Hiromi Yuasa who moved into his house after her father died. Her father had been a close friend of the family, so it was natural for Hiromi to come stay with the Nakagami family; one year has passed since she came to live in their home. Shinichirō has known Hiromi for years, but before he had always treasured her smile, though now she acts coldly when at home and he cannot bring up the nerve to talk with her either. When she is at school, Hiromi is popular, always smiles, and is talented in sports, but Shinichirō knows she must be hiding things inside her. At school, he meets a strange girl named Noe Isurugi who wishes him misfortune after Shinichirō teases her. After a bit of bad luck, he reconciles with Noe by crafting a chicken out of a tissue box and finds out from her that she "gave her tears away". Shinichirō also likes to spend time with his childhood friends Miyokichi Nobuse and Aiko Endō at the Imagawayaki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imagawayaki) shop Aiko's family owns, and she helps out at the shop too.
The opening video of the anime contains shots of the Tateyama mountain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Tate) range in Toyama Prefecture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyama_Prefecture), Japan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japan), and is where the series is set. Incidentally, the animation studio which produced the anime, P.A. Works, is located in Jōhana, Toyama (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C5%8Dhana,_Toyama), and places in the series are modeled after that town. However, the town in True Tears faces the sea, and in reality Jōhana is inland. Furthermore, the two surnames used in the series — Isurugi and Kurobe — are place names in Toyama Prefecture.

I put the information down for these animes in case you are interested in wanting to know what they are about. I particulary loved all of these, because of the emotion they bring to anyone who watches them!

Ouran High School Host Club is the absolute best romantic comedy I've seen in a long time. You might also want to try The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya or Fruits Basket.
