Are you sure you didn't accidentally write "anime-forums.com" instead of one (http://www.christianforums.com) of (http://www.christian-forums.com) these (http://www.christianforums.net)? Nothing wrong with being Christian, but you don't have to be it all the time.
Oh, and in case you didn't notice, Mercutio's post was a flame.

Ya, you do have to be a Christian all the time. Whether you're posting about something Christian or not, you have to think about what you're saying and if it reflects your Christianity. I know that we're on the internet and no one cares whether you're a Christian or not but if you were a Christian youself, you'd understand that your beliefes still somewhat carry over.
ANY WAYS!
I don't like much of the pop rock type Christian music like New Boys and crap like that. Demon Hunter, Stretch Armstrong, Zao and basically any other band from Solid State or Tooth and Nail is good.

And the truuuuuuuuuth of Mercutio is revealed . . .he is a midget gnome from Texas who eats bran muffins and drinks milkshake-thick coffee.
WHOO HA!
Merc try to grow up and not just bash someone like that . . .and angel . . . last time I checked this was a "non-anime music" not "Bash Christians for no good reason" forum.
Gonna have to agree with l337_5n1p3r
the majority of pop rock christian stuff indeed does . . . . . suck
It's crap really. He's also correct about Tooth and Nail and Solid State you can't really go wrong if you pick up CD by any band on their labels
But the following bands . . . (I tend not to put the Christian moniker in front of music or band because it's not like there are Christian eighth notes or Christian 6/4 time or something)
But the following Bands are very good:
Slick Shoes ---Punk
Dogwood ---Punk
MxPx ---Punk
Element 101 ---Girl fronted Punk rock
Embodyment ---- Smooth prog rock
Chevelle --- if you haven't seen them on MTV I will smack you
Blindside -----ooooooooo . . .the song Pitiful is soo good
Beanbag ----
Brandtson --- Emo-core
Evanescence
Ghoti Hook (R.I.P.) ------Punk rock
The Juliana Theory ---- Straight-up Rock
Living Sacrifice -------- Formerly Death Metal - Now Metal-core
POD ------------------- uh yeah . . if you haven't seen these guys on MTV . . .yeah well . . you probably don't watch TV much
Project 86 ---------- My FAV BAND . . New york Hardcore
Relient K --- Pop Punk
Silage ---------- uh . . . rock . . yeah
Switchfoot --- surf pop rock . . i guess
Sixpence None the Richer
Spoken
DJ Maj (his mixtapes are pretty good)
Caedmon's Call (Folk Music . . .it's good and the wife and husband that front the band are really nice)
Gryp
Norma Jean (Luti-Kriss) --------hardcore
Massivivid
Rackets & Drapes ------------ goth
Stavesacre
Stretch Arm Strong
Training For Utopia
Superchick
The Huntingtons --------punk band obsessed with the Ramones
Thousand Foot Krutch
Zao
There are probably more but this is the short list.
I'm done.

Er, not really. Either way, I said it to spare the poor kid from any eventual flames he might get in the future, seeing as how it's so popular to make fun of the Christian kids on the 'net. Besides, as I said, no, you don't have to "be" Christian all the time, just like you don't have to "be" gay or "be" straight or "be" white or "be" black all the time. There's no point in letting yourself be defined by a single characteristic which you exhibit. You don't see me talking about skateboards or video games all the time, do you?
Oh, and most of the stuff put out by Solid State rocks, believe it or not. Norma Jean is my favorite band.

Try "Jesus was way cool", by King Missile (which is the band that give us the great "Detachable Penis"). Truly, the lyrics are awesome!!!

Um, first of all, I am a "she" secondly, this is not a religious topic--pleas don't turn it into one, it's too deep. It is a topic about another music genre. I was just curious if anyone else listened to it. Thirdly, I did catch on to the flame, but I decided to quote anyway--had I not caught on to it, I would have quoted the whole thing. Thanks for the warning anyway. No hard feelings I'm sure.
And monkey emporor, I'm seeing about half of your listed artists in concert in September.

Well, I'm suppose to be a Christian because my mom makes me go to church every Sunday, but I just find religion really boring. And so I don't really like listening to any religious music.
But there's one thing that really bugs me about Christians. Some Christians think that just because the song or band sings about god's love, then that means that they have to like it.

Don't worry, I'm not one who believes that. In fact, I see it lik this:
Not all secular music is bad, and not all Chrstian music is good. And that's true. I listen to music other than Christian, too.
I'm done.

Thank goodness. I remember taking one peek at the Dead Poetic forums and then wincing when I saw that about 90% of the regulars there thought that secular music was bad (pretty ironic, considering that Dead Poetic cite the Deftones as one of their biggest influences).

Umm, I don't see why there could be a regular rock music, but when people are asking others if they like other kinda rock, such as Chistian rock, people start mocking him. :? Don't get me wrong I'm in love with regular rock, but that was kinda harsh to make fun someones taste for music...

I didn't even know there was such music as Christian music, just shows how much i take notice.
I am a Christian, but I absolutely CAN NOT STAND at all in the LEAST BIT, contemporary Christian music. I prefer the harder stuff:
POD
Blindside
Dead Poetic
Beloved
Project 86
Kutless

I hear ya... love POD. Projec 86 is great, too.....Kutless is okay--I saw them (Kutless) live with Audio A. and Mercy Me, and I don't find them all that great live, but other than that.....
