Sorry Petey I had to scrap the idea that I told you along time ago the case couldnt hold up with the fan being wobbly.

I had to put the paneling back on it aswell to much dust and other **** in it.

Mine's just a standard Dell Dimension 8100 case, nothing special. My next box will be a homebuilt though.

Thats a nice case. I like my case because i put a pit of time into it with the case cutters. I put the plexy glass and the rubber on the side myself, as well as that LED fan over the processor. Im thinking of painting it black or blue, i still havent decided yet. The LEFD fan on the side is blowing cool air in and theres a fan on the top (like yours has) that blows the hot air out. and my cpu/case temps are about 40c so im pretty happy.

I was actually considering buying that same case in silver with the liquid cooling kit for it yesterday. Bit pricey though. $500cdn for a case and cooling kit is a bit too much for a splurge purchase.

If you rarely move the thing outside you're house, then there's not a big need to complain. The only thing that can help would be switching to aluminum (or get a smaller case), and even then that's all Aluminum improves... It's weight.

Yah, he CANT move it, he has a wicked bad back. So i need to movie it for him. He gets really low temps though, so the case isnt that bad.

took the pic at a lan party i was at at the weekend
yes, it weighs a tonne, but i wouldn't trade the case for any other
cpu is running at a nice 46.6C
you can't see it well in that pic, but theres a blue cathode running vertically at the back of the case

Christ, your dad is a big compy gamer I see. That is a NVIDIA FX 5900 Ultra, possibly a 256 MB by the looks of his case and accessories. Is it? I am a gamer, with a new Dell comp, not upgraded in any way, but since my dad has eased up on the fact that the comp does belong to him, but he almost never uses it, I only use it. My older brother is getting a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128 MB soon, so I will be taking his current card, a Radeon 9000. Then I am saving my money for another 256 RAM, from my current 256. Then eventually I hope to get a new motherboard, add some more power/fans/etc. then get one of the latest cards, such as your dad's. Damn, he is lucky. Is your comp a gaming machine too? If so how much RAM/Card do you have?

This case is designed for LANning, Made out of Alluminium so its very light and comes with a handle for easy transport, Thumbscrews on the back, clip in slots on the front, area for extra screws storage and pretty much everything is lockable.

What CPU are you running? Are you using a stock CPU heatsink and fan?

my mobo is usually at 22 and my CPU is around 45. I have 2 case fans in my case and a non stock CPU HS/F.
