Yeah, there's no information regarding his parents. I think the 4th Hokage has something to do with Naruto(aside from the fact that he sealed the Demon Fox inside Naruto).

I always sort of thought they died fighting against the Demon Fox. Because he has been alone since birth right? So I always thought he was born, his parents went to fight the Demon Fox and died. But we'll have to wait til its explained to know the truth.

Well, I hold the theory that he was created in the sealing of that demon fox. I don't think he ever had parents in the first place.

i dont think thats it. i remeber them saying that the demon was sealed in a newborn baby. not that a baby was created to seal the demon. of course i could be wrong, but i dont thik thats it.

Yeah, it's stated that the Demon Fox was sealed in a new-born baby. I honestly don't think he was created out of nothing and had the Demon Fox sealed within him. Or that he's a reincarnation of the Demon Fox and the 4th.
There's some wild theories out there that the 4th Hokage is Naruto's father. Kind of makes sense considering that they both have spikey blonde hair and blue eyes. But that's just a theory...

Exactly what I was going to say! besides Naruto and the 4th hokage I can't recall anyone in the series who had a blonde hair (Temari has it but she doesn't counts...).

I think that is highly likely. It would fit very well into the storyline. Naruto wants to be the next Hokage, his father was the 4th Hokage. Fits together very well

About Naruto's parents...I think when the fox demon attacked the villiage, it killed Naruto's parents..Thus, Hokage needed to find a child to become the host of the demon in order to seal it away.. -dakedo- with the parents permission of course...demo who would be crazy to do such a thing??? So since Naruto was 'maybe' parentless, he was a great host. Heehee..
How is that??

i was always wondering what happened to Naruto's parents
well, it could be that his parents were killed by the nine-tails fox demon but i sorta think the 4th hokage could be Naruto's father too 'cause of the slight resemblance and that he probably would've chosen his son to seal away the demon in
it was also mentioned that the 4th hokage also wanted Naruto to be thought of as somewhat of a hero for keeping the demon in him
but yeah, this is just basically my thoughts on this
Or maybe....the Kyubi killed Naruto's mom momentarily after Naruto's birth. And then Naruto's dad (4th) decided to seal the Kyubi in his newborn son. (He thinks "since Naruto is the only child who is able to handle the Kyubi I will seal it in him. I should at least leave something for him since I'm gonna die anyways".) If not, then I still know the 4th cared a lot for Naruto.

All the theories make sense, but what I think is that Naruto's parents were killed and he was an orphin, so that is why he was picked to be the host. At the sametime, the 4th was killed sealing the nine-tails, because he is the seal. He used sooo much chakra to seal him in that a part of the 4th in apart of Naruto, hence why he can summon and ride the frog and learned resungan so fast... but thats just what I think :lol:

I think that it seems a bit odd that the 4th would seal the Demon Fox inside a child other than his own.

i think he isnt the 4th hokage's son. i might be wrong. if it was true wouldnt the villagers give him a little more respect cause his father the 4th sealed kyubi away. instead of seeing naruto as kyubi himself.

A long time ago, a demon fox with nine tails existed. When the tail was swung, it would destroy a mountain and cause a tsunami. To counter it, people gathered ninjas.
Ninjas: "Hold it here till the Fourth arrives!" "Don't let it get any closer to our village!"
One ninja sealed the monster in a life or death battle and died. That ninja was known as the Fourth Hokage.
Later on....
Mizuki: "It's the rule not to say Naruto is a monster fox. In other words you are the nine-tailed demon fox who killed Iruka's parents and destroyed our villiage."
3rd Hokage: This isnt good. Mizuki told him the secret. Naruto is more unstable than before. He might release the power that has been sealed. He also has the Scroll of sealing. The possiblity that he will unseal himself and turn into a nine-tailed fox is possible." [/spoiler:5159ad9fcf]
I don't know about you people but to me that cleary states that he IS the nine-tails, the nine tails wasn't sealed into a baby(him). The nine-tails was sealed CREATING Naruto. Yes it's true that it doesnt exactly SAY this but it does IMPLY it.. well thats my opinion...

Trust me, I swear Naruto is NOT the Nine-Tails Demon. Because once, he even talked to the Kubi himself.

You should re-read the manga. Somewhere in there it says that the Demon Fox was sealed into a newborn baby, which became the vessel for the Kyuubi.
