Gamma

Awesome sauce.

Gamma will be playing the role of Gmork in a local production of The Neverending Story. Also, along with about 10 other people I will be the voice of the Nothing.

My first thought was how am I going to cover up the girls? This is a concern, folks.

Remember a while back I wrote about getting chosen for a very important position in my organization?

Turns out I was the only applicant. My superiors were very quick to tell me that they went to great lengths to check my qualifications first (they even sent one of the sovereigns to interview me at an event and she was positively delighted). But yeah, it was just me.

Go figure.

The dreaded back injury has struck again this morning. (Softball injury from when I was 14. Slid into second overtop this other girl's shoe and it completely screwed me up.)

I feel like someone is inserting something sharp just to the right of my spine and at this point, it's becoming difficult to breathe deeply.

Ibuprofen is no longer doing the deed. Might be time to get out the stronger stuff.

Urgh. I hate taking pain meds.

So the time has come to cut ties with my mother. My Dad's death last year has just been too much for her to handle and despite her promises of quitting...she continues to try her very best to drink herself to death.

A couple weeks ago, I took her to the ER because she hadn't had solid food in over 7 days and had instead chosen to consume a case of beer every single day. She was also bleeding from unmentionable orifi.
