Alice Margatroid's theme, the lonely dollmaker of Gensokyo. A nocturne is pretty much the ideal musical vehicle for Alice's theme, and this is probably my favorite rendition of it. Nocturnes are simply music pieces that evoke feelings of the night, though many are also written as character pieces, like the above.

Tewi's theme tonight:



The trickster rabbit youkai, Tewi Inaba. Her original theme is rather upbeat track with a regular triplet theme found throughout that accentuates the playfulness of her character. Being only a midboss in Imperishable Night, it feels like a fitting style and is one mirrored in many of the fairy midboss themes.

Diverse System's acoustic rendition of the song gives it a much more somber and sad tone, having slowed it down ...

Dance tune! Great gabber mix, high energy and maximum creepy with the audio from The Exorcist mixed in! It really fits Flandre's personality perfectly with such a frenetic beat going on. Ton of drum beats bursting in and out and this track really should be experienced with headphones for the full impact from the stereo effects. Despite being so energetic it actually has a much darker quality to it; even without the possessed screams of a little girl overlaid. Mostly dissonant ...

Another day, another vocal touhou track!



This is just such an upbeat song. Originating from the tenth touhou game, Mountain of Faith, this is based off of Suwako's theme. To be honest, it almost seems at odds with the original which was the Extra Boss theme for MoF. Like most Extra Boss themes, the original was pretty fast-paced and frantic, albeit much more playful than some of it's predecessors which seemed to set much more somber or intense moods. ...

Yay, such a nice jazzy track! It has a lounge music sort of atmosphere with how laid back it sounds and the vocalists style. I think it's using a bossa nova beat, or some samba derivative.
