    Sundome broke my heart. Shattered it into little pieces. I finished it yesterday morning, and I've been a mess every since. No energy, no appetite. I just wander around the house, thinking. A character's name will run through my head, and it hurts. A character's face will appear, and it hurts.

    I hate that I get like this, but that's the way I've always been. I cried forever after reading Children of Dune. I was so angry at Frank Herbert and the "good" characters. ...
