I am currently under a lot of stress.
I'm always tired from working. For nearly two months I had been incredibly sleep deprived, and for three days straight last week I got about 6 hours of sleep total. I was quite going off to the deep end. I was starting to have very unlike myself thoughts. I was pretty desperate, to say the least, to get some rest. I finally got about 14 hours of sleep, and I feel...alright, I guess.

I don't like to admit that for the past four years or so I cultivated friendships with people who aren't worth the hard work it takes to genuinely connect with someone. Granted, I've always kept people at arm's length but the shallow and face-value 'friendships' I had throughout that period of my life have definitely impacted my expectations of others I haven't even met in negative ways.

It made me very suspicious of anyone new, and I never really gave new acquaintances a shot at proving ...
