Today was the last day of my welding course (with tomorrow and Friday being my apprenticeship exam).
We wrote our course final today(with only 2 of us passing just barely.. it was hard!). After it, they presented the "Top Student Award" which we had all forgotten about, and it went to yours truly. So here is a shot of the $200 goodie-filled duffel bag:

My friend invited me to a women's show in town today. Started at noon, and went until 5pm. We walked around for about an hour and a half, and then spent another 2 1/2 hours at the Subway (food place) down the street.

The women's show was a whole bunch of vendors; a lot from out of town, but a few from stores in the city. Things like clothes, coffee, spices/sauces, make-up, jewelry, ornaments, machines (exercise equipment, hair styling gadgets..), snacks, candles, astrology/tarot card, ...

So a few weeks ago, I ordered a mask from budk.com (knives/masks/swords,ect site) and I've been getting offers to my e-mail, but they never charged my credit card for my order. So I tried again, thinking maybe I didn't click order or something. Got the confirmation for the order, but no e-mail saying it shipped... so I'm thinking they don't ship to Canada even though it's an option on the address form.

So I went to ebay, found the cheapest price for the mask I wanted, and I ordered ...

When I get bored, I clean. Generally I clean my room, with the occasional bit of the house when no one else is home. Vacuumed, swiffer'ed and tidied up the little bits I haven't had the chance to get to; such as a few posters I had needing to go up.

I have some Gundam models I need to hang from my ceiling, but I can't find my fishing string.
