Personally, I've been smoking on and of for about 10 years. Its always been under 10 and now I'm on around 3-5 tops sometimes just the one. Switching to rollies has definitely been a factor.

Most people look down on rollies for some reason (thank you hobos with tiny dogs on strings!) but if you can find a decent blend you like, its a far superior smoke (anything by Peter Stokkeby, 3 Castles and American Sprit is quality). They make you work for your smoke and defintely tamper the mechnical aspect of just reaching for your box of ciggies.

Also, definitely best to not hang around smokers. And try to hold of on that first smoke for as long as possible. Maybe forgo your morning smoke and have one for your break? But breaking old routines is a great idea.

The actual taste of nicotine from the smoke, and it was horrible.

I've gone days without smoking, and when I do, I can actually feel the nicotine coursing through my veins. Urrgh. With a hint of 'oooooooh damn thats good.' Followed by ****, I'm goNna puke.' Don't start kids.
