I was about eight when I stopped eating beef after reading an article in school about the treatment of cows. That combined with the constant smell of Jim's Steaks... I just lost the taste for it. And then there were times where I'd attempt other beef based dishes and my stomach was all "hell" and "no." (Coming from a single parent home living on a fixed income vomiting food was just as bad as throwing away food.)

I don't celebrate Christmas because it's never been a custom observed by my religion. But after this year I am pretty sure I'll want to celebrate it or at least give it a try for two reasons.

Today around 2 PM my Aunt received round 12 of ECT in about a month's time. On Thursday my Aunt underwent her first two rounds of bilateral ECT under anesthesia. On Friday the process was repeated, and today she underwent one round.
Because she has suffered from severe depression for such a long period of time, it is unlikely she'll see results in the normal time frame. It's quite possible she'll have to undergo another round in about a month or so. That's what the doctor told us. I went to work this morning. I work in advertising/communications. My job revolves around writing, communicating, and meetings as necessary. Around 10 AM my boss came in because a new client (accompanied by her lawyer) wanted to speak with me specifically.
