The Ocean Waves

You open a door with a smile on your face,
It's a cold and windy night,
Your mind is trying to picture what just happened:
the room filled with blood and the middle is your friend lying there,
and there's a note saying: Your friend is never coming back.

You don't know how to react,
do you cry, do you laugh?
if you cry, whose going to hear you weep?
if you laugh, whose going to be there to enjoy it with you?

Yesterday, you were with your friend just an ordinary day
Today, you were with your friend dead without a proper goodbye.
Tomorrow, you will remember the good and the bad
whether the wind or sun will pick up, your friend is always on your mind.

The pain drills inside of you,
sooner or later it will drip faster.
you begin to scream top of your lungs,
tears flow and heart races
You cannot fight it anymore.

Questions go on your mind,
How about that promise we made together,
where we will look out for each other?
you begin to cry when you look at a picture with you and your friend.

You start to realize the ocean waves,
washed your friend away to a far away place,
never to return and your friend
has been buried within the forever sands.

My friend just recently died, and I wrote it because I couldn't it in anymore. I had to express it, and the only way I do that is by poetry. Even when she had so many **** done to her, she still smiled and that will be part of me.
