Oh noes.

The dreaded back injury has struck again this morning. (Softball injury from when I was 14. Slid into second overtop this other girl's shoe and it completely screwed me up.)

I feel like someone is inserting something sharp just to the right of my spine and at this point, it's becoming difficult to breathe deeply.

Ibuprofen is no longer doing the deed. Might be time to get out the stronger stuff.

Urgh. I hate taking pain meds.

If the injury resulted in scar tissue build up ( with or without nerve impingement ) you can try ART therapy ( active release technique ). It is far from comfortable, but it works extremely well and often 2 or 3 sessions and you're back to normal. I used it once a few yrs after a deadlift injury on my QL was hindering my progress. Worked better than any other therapy.

I'm not familiar with that therapy. But thanks for the tip, I'll discuss it with the doc when I see her again.
