Oh god I'm getting old now. By anime standards anyway. I'm 18 now, so if life were an anime it means I'd no longer be in the running for anything exciting any more and would only appear as a background character from time to time.

But at least realistically I'm still young. However being a legal adult now means I can't get away with murder any more. Child protection laws are no longer my friend.

Anyway since I'm an otaku I got my first taste of sake today. It's some good ****. Burns a little in the back of the throat but still sweet and tasty. Somehow that sounds wrong but...Eh. In addition to that I've finally joined the McMullen clan with our traditional Scotch and dry. Only a couple of rounds though since everyone was so damn busy (So they had to be doubles)

Everyone was either rushing off to work or uni or just couldn't be bothered so much of the day was spent alone. Plus my friends all had exams today so they were out of the picture and getting hammered during the week is out of the question with even more exams on the way so I've had to postpone my party for about a month.

Still I'm happy even if my 'big' birthday was considerably tame and quiet.
