So undergraduate offers aren't supposed to be until January next year, but I've already been given my offer and accepted a month in advance simply because I completed Extension 1 and 2 English in year 12 and my degree is part of the arts. Technical knockout?

Because of this my marks in the HSC (It's the big exam at the end of high school in Australia. I don't know what your equivalents are, possibly SAT or something?) don't even matter. Even if I failed the rest of my courses (Wouldn't happen, but still...) I'm guaranteed my place at the university of Newcastle!

Better yet only two people from our graduating year have gotten early acceptance. We beat the spoiled rich kids and private school fools into university! Of course we all start on the same day but to be accepted early is awesome. No more tension and suspense, I can just relax, have some drinks and enjoy my holidays!
