I need a help.

I need a little help here since I am not sure how to translate this.

The title is "Increasing the 'meaning quotient' of work" .
I couldn't find what 'meaning quotient' is. It sounds more like some kind of a phrase, reading up more of the article that holds this title, it shows that somehow this is connected with moral intelligence at work. So would it be fine if I would translate it as "Increasing of the moral at work"?
If anyone has suggestions or could explain me, if I m wrong about 'meaning quotient' what that thing is. I would really appreciate.

And one more thing. I really couldn't understand what the first sentence means.
So I hope you can explain me.
"Don't resort to platitudes about communication, quality feedback, and empowerment. There are specific tools that really work."

I think that word platitude confuses me here. And I cannot comprehend it.

    Better late than never, hopefully. For the first one, I assume the author is using it in a sort of rare and outdated form where it basically just means the share of, the amount, or the percentage. Because the author is talking specifically about meaning, I would just look at it as "Increasing the amount of meaning your workers feel." Sounds awkward, right? that's probably why she worded it the way she did.

    The second one, a platitude is generally used to define something (like a phrase) that others live by in a facetious and condescending matter.

    So don't resort to blurting stupid phrases like "Remember, there is no 'I' in 'Team'!" because while it sounds good, it really offers nothing.

    I did read up a bit on this site, and hell I m not even sure what to think. Only thing I know is that my concentration is so low, that I will have to work on this tomorrow.

    Quotiant is another word for fraction. So its basically asking how you increase work efficiency by making the employee feel their work/has more value or meaning. Motivation in other words.

    Same as Prowler, I read this as 'don't use cliche's/or typically obvious meanings for these terms when answering. They are looking for specific methods/tools.

    thanks. So would it be okay if I would translate the title something as "Increasing of motivation at work"? or increase of motivational quotient?
