Ok so the past two months a yugioh fad took over the school. Now everyone's getting cards and trying to beat everyone else. Wow the game has changed and I had to get a deck. I was able to buy an onslaught of the fire kings deck and so far had great success. The duels get so crucial they betting money. With some luck I might win a couple duels. Weirdest fad I've seen in many years in school lol.

    Yeah, it's actually been taking over at my college lately. Even more than it did during middle school when it came out. I'm tempted by the nostalgia.

    See, though, that's the thing. I've never heard anyone vouch for it over magic. In either flavor or mechanics.

    IDK, When the Yu Gi Oh stuff came out, I got the cards, but thought it was A lot better to watch the game being played on the show.

    Didn't think people played this shi1t anymore. It maybe have something to do with the Yu Gi Oh reruns. I actually did not see the last big chunk of episodes of the last season when it came out in 05-06 and finished it A few months ago.

    I would drop the Yu Gi Oh cards and pick up Cardfight!! Vanguard.

    If there was one good thing about the yu-gi-oh anime it was the supply of dramatic lines it gave me to slip into my other games.

    I had the same fad too in primary school, people used t put all five exodia cards on the top of their decks and hoped no one would shuffle their decks, well the people that had them all anyway.

    Trap cards must be set beforehand to be able to use. You can't play them from your hand. You also can't activate them the same turn it was set

    You misunderstand. I'm saying that there was one laid down, which was activated, and the picture is of the dude playing a card the trap allowed him to play.

    what am i even doing right now...

    Furthermore, he could be flipping it from the table. As if he just slid it to the table edge with his finger and is now placing it right-side up. Just because his hands are somewhat close doesn't mean he just pulled the card in his right hand from his left hand.

    Where I was, certain people just flat out didn't use the actual game rules and used the rules from the show

    one of my friends have gotten into it and it makes me laugh he is like "it's better then you playing LoL" in which I laughed.

    I'm sorry but it's a thing of the past. Some of the kids in the school have cards worth 150 dollars? LOOL that's your entertainment bro?? really?


    If you have the most expensive deck in the series you win as simple as that. Now they are gonna come up with something new and just as expensive wooho.
