Anyone work with cosplay armor before?
What did you use to make the armor? How easy is it to work with?
What about weapons like long swords?

Planning to go as Rider of Black for a con coming next spring, so I wanna get a good amount of time into this, any tips?
I've heard using that foam board, like those puzzle piece place mats are really nice to work with for large armor pieces as it's cheap and lightweight.

    You can be very simple with it and go far, you can use tin to make armour if you wanna go cheap about it. If not then you might want to learn how to use a workshop set up and get ready for some welding and grinding. Then again it doesn't have to be metal, you can make it out of wood and paint it into the texture of a metal base. Should look nice.
