WHAT IS IT WITH CLIENTS AND MICROSOFT WORD?
OH EM GEE, I swear to God, I'm going to murder someone.

A few months ago, I sent the final design template to a client. They asked for the raw InDesign file + template that I set up with style sheets and everything.

Do you know how long it takes to set up style sheets for an entire ****ing book? Especially when there's several kinds of pages? No? Well a long friggen time.

I sent it to them, and they said that they were going to transfer it to MicroSoft word because I didn't know how to transfer a template to ****ty MS Word. They got a technician at my university to do the conversion. They send it to me in email and it looked like ****. I didn't even respond. I am washing my hands off them completely. That was a couple of months ago.

Today, I get something from a different client, well POTENTIAL client. They told me that they don't want me to work in anything but Microsoft Word and that they have a template. Apparently another designer didn't want to do the job, so they've come to me and sent me this long winded email about what to do and what not to do. Looks like they know exactly what they want. TOO BAD. NOT DOING IT! These kinda people wanna make me kill puppies. >.> (Not that I'd actually harm anything, but grrrrr.)
