I really wanted to watch this movie again, so I decided to pick it up on Blu-Ray today. I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid. I honestly love watching movies that I enjoyed watching when I was a kid. It definitely reminds of how much I used to love Mortal Kombat. It's also fun to see whether I still find the movie enjoyable or not.

That being said, I did still find the movie enjoyable to watch. It's definitely a cheesy movie, but some of the fight scenes are actually pretty cool(even though they are a bit short). My favorite one was always Liu Kang vs Reptile. However, some of the special effects look dated(i.e. Scorpion's spear). I think this movie was actually one of the better video game movies when it was released. It definitely beats Street Fighter for best fighting game film adaptation, but I guess that isn't saying much. Anyway, it was fun watching this movie again. It definitely brings a smile to my face to hear that Mortal Kombat theme song one more time.
