Possible spoilers

Okay so I just recently went out to watch this movie and thought it might be a good thing to talk about since there's a lot in this movie for the watcher to interpret and think about. At first glance it's just a movie about some kid playing drums with a slightly insane teacher however the focus should be more on the journey, the transition of a being to a great.

This movie is heavily inspired by the works of Buddy Rich, a prodigy on the drums. He was literally a living legend playing impossible drum solos at an age way past retirement.

Even if music isn't your thing this movie shouldn't be overlooked, it shows how perseverance, dedication and persistence can take people out of the boundaries they're expected to fall into.
