The "I'll Never Love Again" Route
Just after "Bavarois", the route that leads to the three endings mentioned in the title is undoubtedly the second best route in the game. The reason I placed "Bavarois" so high is because it was the most realistic simulation of what an infatuation-based relationship is like, not to mention its minimum damage/heartbreaks caused. The three endings here, on the other hand, also have very few heartbreaks caused, especially thanks to Taisuke's advice that both Sekai and Kotonoha should just accept whomever Makoto chooses in the end. Taisuke can be a pretty swell guy when he's not dealing with sex, it seems.
I've also learned something else from this route as well as the "Bavarois" route - keep Kotonoha distracted, but don't get too intimate with her. I noticed that when Makoto's relationship remains 'awkward' all the way till after episode 4, it usually doesn't matter who Makoto chooses in the end, as 1) Kotonoha won't get raped or bullied because Makoto is keeping her busy with their relationship, and 2) they aren't close enough to have either party get burned (note "Bavarois" ending, where Kotonoha was merely somewhat disappointed).
And in this route, it's the same. All parties involved, despite obvious displeasure at the thought of losing their love, are rather satisfied with accepting whomever Makoto chooses. This alone makes both this route and the "Bavarois" route 10x better than all of those other messy routes full of nonsensical drama that doesn't make sense.
However, I have to deduct points from this route because you can only reach these three endings when you've remained indecisive on whom you want to like. The "Bavarois" route has its own indecisiveness as well, I agree, but at least there, Makoto never had sex with Kotonoha, nor did he proclaim his love for Sekai till the very end. Here, in the route leading to these three endings, Makoto must have had sex with Kotonoha, confessed his love for Sekai while getting close with Katou Otome - all before the final episode 6 takes place. Unlike "Bavarois", it lacks the realism of foolish infatuation, and instead, it might as well have been a harem.
I still give it props though, for giving closure to everyone - and I do mean everyone. Setsuna has a funny badass scene at the end of Sekai's ending, "Love Fulfilled " where she leaves Sekai in the good hands of Makoto without worry, Taisuke isn't a rapey jerk and is going out with Hikari instead, while Sekai, Kotonoha, and Katou would have accepted Makoto's decision no matter whom he chooses. Furthermore, this is also the route that includes the most amount of screentime for Makoto's super adorable sister, Itaru, who totally melted my heart with her charm.
See, if they had used this route for the anime, everyone would have loved it.
