I had a random, childhood memory surface earlier today when talking to a friend on the phone. I'm sure everyone here knows what that experience feels like, remembering a small bit from your past now and again. I remembered when i was super young, and talking to my sister one time about the sun. I was under the impression that the giant fiery ball in the sky was actually a plant that surfaced and grew every day...I think i was like 4 or 5 lol
It was really funny one day becuase that year i went up to Arizona to stay with some family, this place was beyond barren lol more than it is here where i currently live even. My aunt Anita and uncle Jimmy owned several dozen acres of land that were mostly just hills and dead shrubs, except for a small garden behind the house, which contained a single sunflower my aunt had planted.
The first time i saw it, i asked her what it was of course, and she told me it was a sunflower. I freaked out and said,"A sun WHAT?!" I was positively elated and astonished that i had finally found what exactly the sun in the sky started out as. So i asked if it was true, that this plant in her small garden would one day get as big and warm as the sun. She laughed and told me no, but she taught me that day something I'll always smile at. My aunt Anita told me that now matter how big or small something is, it effects something in some way or another.
...That would be friggin epic though if suns/stars started as tiny plants.
