Some of you may have noticed that I up and disappeared a few months ago. This was due to school, specifically college, coming to a head and my need to buckle down and finish my animation reel. I'm happy to announce that my reel is finished, looking pretty okay, and that my time has been freed up pretty dramatically until I find a job in the animation industry.
Between then and now my activity here will pick up again, mostly focusing on the Content Workshop to get some user work featured.
You're not the only kid who grew up this way.
So, I've found a way to gather up a bunch of my old articles and I'm thinking about how to organize them and keep them somewhere that's easier to find.

So, my last article went pretty well, I think. And given the responses I've received I've come up with a few ideas for the next one.
One of the first bits of feedback I got was that I should take a second look at One Piece since it's actually a good example of a shounen manga done right. Problem is, I already tried to do this and ended up dropping it after about 130 chapters. I was pretty bored by most of it, save for the exceptional Arlong Park arc (which made me bawl and was wonderful).
Well, that was surprising.
