Default Anime similar to Fullmetal Alchemist.

1st of all i just like to say a few things. I'm new to this forum and i realize that its impolite not to introduce myself before making threads but im in a rush atm. Ill make an introduction thread later. Also im not realy sure is this the right place to post this but i couldnt find some more suitable sub-forum.

I'm looking for an anime similar to Fullmetal Alchemist. I watch FMA 2 aswell but i dont want to wait a week for an episode to come out. So im looking for a anime that has a reasonable story based on the death of a close person to the main character(similar to FMA). . I dont want the main character to seek revenge.
    So far ive watched:
    Death Note
    Bleach
    Naruto,Naruto Shippuuden
    DB,DBZ,DB GT
    FMA ofcourse
    Golden Boy

Hardly to find any anime like FMA.. Every manga maker has his/her own fantasy.. You can't find such anime like FMA, unless if you search 90s & 80s animes.. Who knows?

    -Moved to Anime Recommendations-

Although Death Note is more Shounen based, I recommend more of these intellect-based shows. I suggest Akagi, One Outs (Although this does some some sporting elements, it is mainly based on Mental fights), Kaiji, Code Geass (As well as fighting!)

I'd really recommend Akagi though. Just take in the artwork, it may look wierd at first but it really doe suit the anime. On top of the fantastic mental struggles, you'll also learn how to play Mahjong a bit.

If you like FMA I would suggest D. Gray-Man. I haven't gotten to see the anime yet, but the manga is insanely good.
