ATI related problem
Today I installed (fresh install :P) windows xp pro. sp3 on my IBM Thinkpad T43. All drivers are up to date but when I went to my ati control panel to configure some stuff I got this error message... http://i42.tinypic.com/14csc4i.jpg

You need to find the respective card type you have or chipset used for graphics and do a hard reinstall of its software. That should fix the problem. Essentially from what i gather is that with the reboot of windows that software didnt contain your drivers for that piece of hardware.
